Jason,

Will your new roof rack have a basket, platform, or crossbars?

Vince

Got the 1/4" aluminum side plates cut yesterday and all the crossbar tube arrived. Should be finished and head to powder next week.

Also, made myself a new set of UCAs.. that are a bit more presentable than the " prototype " bare metal and rusty arms. Yes, I always go for the weird color combos.

Next weekend will be a busy one:
  • Custom made CrMo CVs, seal, clips, etc...
  • UCAs
  • Heater Ts
  • Valve cover gaskets
  • new TruckLite head light swap (7")
  • Fit roof rack and hardtop tent
  • Trail Tailor 270 batwing and Trail Tailor 2M awnings
Hopefully it all gets done!

Are you producing "house-brand" tents an awnings?

I've had them for a couple years now. I did a group buy for the past two years. I have the tents made to my specs. This hard was a "trial" tent from my MFG and been sitting on the rack for about 2 years. All together I have about 93 tents and around 400 awnings out there.

I still have a couple of tents and 2M awnings remaining.

Very cool. Would be interested in a hard shell. For me, it just seems simpler.

A few things off the to do list. Will finish the rest tomorrow...

UCAs
CrMo CV axles
Checked all new BL mounts for tightness. No issues
Swapped out the AC control panel in the dash... WOOHOO! all lights work and the mixer now works!
Traced down a short in the radio/video system... Repaired and no more trickle drain on the battery
Removed rear bumper, spare tire lift/carrier and re-routed some wiring so the rear bumper can get started.

NEW PRODUCT---- CB/ANTENNA Mount in stock location (I make this for the 60 and 80 series) Designed prototype mount, ran wiring and installed antenna. Will get to the AM/FM/ CB splitter and CB install in a bit.

Tomorrow---

Heater Ts
Valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals
Plugs
Remove rear crossmember

Valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals
Plugs

Also got another Odyssey Extreme 31-PC2150 and installed. 1150 CCA and 205Ah Put it on the charger to test and top off the charge. Nice to have a monster like this again.

A, NOPE... still running the stock 4.30s and getting 13.4 mpg so I'm happy.

J
Thanks

My next set of rubber will be 295/70-18- I may require your 12mm pucks after- we’ll see if theres any rub

Jason, I may have missed something in all of the posts.. Are you going to be producing those CVs?

G,

I'm not going to... Even with making 25 sets at a time they would be around 1500.00-1700.00 a pair. The majority of people had a heart attack with that pricing... so another idea hits FILE 13.
