Just reset my trip odometer and engine code to see how long this lasts!

On a different note... I have no idea what could have possibly happened to damage that plastic cover.

did you wipe it with some solvent or is it just scratched? The scratches are easy to remove..

This will take care of your scratches:
Novus 2 scratch remover

it's the commercial version of the militray grade polish that is issued to aircraft technicians working in the Aircrew Life Support Shops (the aircrew equipment store) to remove scratches on aircrew helmet visors.

Or you could just buy a new cover; they're $40 and still in production.

Does it make sense to delete the modulators and block off the pipe? Or just leave the ball bearings in the vacuum lines?

This kit has been working for me for quite some time along with passing my last smog test.

I left everything in place to keep it easy to reactivate if needed. I couldn’t see any advantage to removing other components

Yeah I was also wondering about reinstating the system. Since I've had the kit installed, I now have a rebuilt motor and new exhaust along with o2 sensors and new cat.

But what's keeping me from using it again is that pipe not getting hot and saving the wiring harness...I actually forgot that pipe doesn't get hot, when I rebuilt the motor I wrapped the harness with heat shield.

What sort of mpg are you getting with it deactivated?

Nearly everyone I have talked with has just left it all in place. It looks good and as mentioned it makes it easy to enable it all again.

They would only be enabling it again for a smog test correct?

Like I don't need to do that, it does look good with it all in place...it's also great to have 1 less thing to worry about.

By the way, it's a great kit. It's been working for thousands of miles. Much appreciated:clap:

Yes, enabling to either put it back to fully functional and/or running it through emissions testing.

I got the kit in a few weeks ago for my 93. The plug will not fit mine and Hudd thinks the factory plug was changed out. Has anyone had this problem? I'll try it again tonight just to make sure.

I'd change out the Heater Valve while you're back there. It's looking pretty 'iffy'.

There should be a number on your old temp sensor connector. If you can read it....we can tell you if it factory (looks factory).
