I really want to keep it but I am a lowly poor working man and have 3 Cruisers and a DD. I can only drive one at a time anyway. If it doesn't sell then the 4BT80 will go on the block... I would love to keep it. I wasn't even looking for it when I found it and blew my toy fund on it because as any of you I had to have it when I found it!! Talking to a guy that has a ranch in Colorado that wants it... Will post up if it sells.

Interested. Wondering same as woytovich; what's your price?

Going to add more pics and list 1 more time. Thinking of keeping and selling my diesel 80. Pm me an offer if you like. 14k would buy it for mudders as rusty bondo machines are getting 10+. This is a one of a kind original.

I wish my rusty bondo machine got 10+ :( and free bump for a nice 40

OK what is it worth?? Some More Pics.

I will post more pics of the frame Tomorrow as requested. 12K sound reasonable for Mudders before returning to E-Bay? I would rather it go to a Mud member and not get hacked up.

Im guessing ebay bidding is indicative of the ballpark it should be in.

At $8100 its probably a lowball. But id guess you still would struggle getting mudders interested at anything over $9500.

does this have the factory soft top? or aftermarket one? pics with it installed would certainly go a long way in helping it sell if you have it.

Without the top- and tops running a cool $1200.......id say you will need to factor that into the price.

The last few fst's that sold on mud were $3500 and $6k........both which were a new sill away from yours condition wise.

Can you link those please?

Very nice fj40. To someone after an original fst, you should get around 10k in my opinion.

Like anything original, once you replace tires, shocks, master cylinders, brakes, a new soft top, etc... you've got 14-15k in an unrestored truck. I personally love the patina look. So, I'd replace the above components and roll with it. GLWS.

Can I put it on layaway until I'm done with grad school? :p. Looks really nice. GLWS!

All of those things are good as stated above. With new tires you could DD this although I would not. This is a driver!

you are missing the spacers for the bezel, that's why the headlights look like the truck is being choked at the neck

Some More Pics. Will post pics of frame and BEZEL SPACERS!! They are there....Look closer at the pic and you will see the bezel shadow on the bib!

My 71 hardtop came out of California. Surface rust only. Very original with original paint too. I think this a deal for someone looking a nice fst. If I were in the market, this would be on a flatbed headed back to GA. I too appreciate the fact of what you see is what you get!

A dealership should put this in there showroom! The market is flat right now, it would sell quick at 10k, may have to wait for the right person at 12 to 14k, if i didnt have 10 cars i would be headed south!!

10 cars and 1 doesnt need an OM617 ?:D

Just ordered a new OCD TOP!!! Going to put it on and back to E-bay with lots of pics this time. 70+ degrees today and drove it for a while around town. This is a sweet cruising machine. Price is back up.. Will post pics in a couple weeks when the top comes!!! Might have to keep this. The wifey says its "too cute to sell" and she and the kids loved the drive..
