Overkill? Probably.
But solid as a rock, and super versatile for any number of individual items like fridge, boxes, microwave (yes, I'm running one after a win with a high power inverter), or temporary things like wheelchairs ( I know all about how rattle and slide-prone wheelchairs are!).
You can get all sorts of rings, and other mounts, including box mounts that could go in a tool box, or etc. (no ring, rather an internal box securing attachment).
These are customs from Mac's Tie Downs.
Great people to deal with, and they will make them any length you want.
The reason I have so many (see photo) is because I have sliding floors over both sides, rather than the more typical one-side. Their cut lengths left extra pieces, so I have those extra lengths on the side. The side portion of the floor is NOT nearly as strong, so I would not want to pull that too tight...but it could easily secure something I don't want flying around in an accident, such as a fire extinguisher, or etc.
With all the holes, end pieces and attachment rings I ordered, it added up quickly ($375!). But if you just want a one-sided fridge tie-down on a single roller floor, it would be way less than half that. This stuff if STOUT. -Made mainly for tying cars, trucks, dune-buggies to trailers. But why not go stout?

Will probably split these at the hatch point. Might skip side points altogether, but they sent these extra lengths rather than recycle them...so we'll see.
I dealt with Phil on the phone, and he was super patient and helpful throughout.
I haven't attached them yet, but will be using nutserts underneath, and countersink screws from above. Mac's will drill holes wherever you specify.
