Yes I’m sure he can. But he’s a normal 4x4 shop not an arb Or Toyota specialist so he has no clue how to answer what I was asking.

I emailed you guys because you do have a clue. And if the drawer wasnt blocked by the table when opening, resulting in having to extend the table to get to the front of the drawer, i would’ve bought the table from you and not him.

Do you know how many customer calls my company fields in a day that don’t result in any any transacted business? Dozens. Maybe more.

Do you know how many of those customers we track down and make snide comments to on Internet forums? Zero.

Interesting reply. I don't feel I made a "snide comment" nor "tracked you down" lol. I've been active on Mud for a minute and posted in this very thread over the years, it popped up on my notifications ;)

I saw your reply here and recalled having one of the sales guys here ask me to answer a drawer question for an Andy, I was legitimately curious who you bought your drawers from that couldn't answer a question & sell you the product... for all I knew you were going to say you purchased the drawers from us. I'd be a dumb business man if I didn't ask who/where folks were buying their parts. Enjoy your drawers...

I'm sorry but that just doesn't jive with the way you posted/asked the questions initially. But in the end it doesn't matter at all to me.

Have a nice day.

And you as well :D

From the peanut gallery...... ;)

For what it’s worth...it would be EXTREMELY out of long-observed character for Kurt to have some kind of snide intent. -Just not how he operates at all. Stand up guy. So my 1.5 cents is...massive benefit of the doubt is deserved.

Now how bout them tie downs? 😬

How about those tie downs indeed... To help keep this helpful thread moving in a positive direction... I will post a few pics and my thoughts.

Thank you to @Markuson for posting about these.

I ordered and installed the following:
1520410Anchor Plate Assembly - 4 Pack
1 in. fastener length
$57.95
1520334Double Stud Anchor Plate Assembly - 4 Pack
Idler
1 in. fastener length
$89.95

Extremely solid hardware.
I chose the anchor plate assembly for the front and back ends of my drawers (who knows what tie down points.)
I selected the double stud anchor plates for specific tie down locations.

I am pleased with the result and feel more confident that my cargo will stay put in an accident.

Couple of thoughts for future buyers:
With the purchase of the anchor plate assembly you will get to choose your type of tie down ring. Your options are a pear ring or idler. I chose the pear ring and was surprised how large it was. It works great, but is quite the overkill for a tote tie down.

The double stud anchor plate assembly comes with single stud tie down rings. In retrospect , I wish I had reached out to the company and inquired if I could get the single stud tie downs rings in lieu of the pear rings. I can't say for certain, but one would think they would accommodate that request as the pear rings seem to be heavier duty and probably more expensive. I will probably place and order to rectify.

The only other thing that I will mention is that that the "captive nuts" on the back side of the back plates tend to want to come off. They are not welded/hard mounted to the backing plate. Not a complaint... as I can imagine many scenarios where the nut would be discarded all together for a different mounting solution. A bit of attention and it won't be a problem, but I thought I would mention it.
