I should have it. I am working but will check when I get home.

Thank you, sir... I'll shoot you $20 for shipping.

On closer inspection the entire bottom is shot. Will replace it.

Thanks go out to @Tank5 for sending me another bottom bracket. Hopefully it is hear early next week. I have a few more days until my tax season "deadline" is completed and I can spend some quality time on the project.

Plan...

get passenger floorpan done and welded in.
Get brake pedal adapted.
Accelerator pedal mounted.
get steering column with firewall opening done.
dash layout completed
Tearout rear reinforcement box
put in chair and finalize how much stretch the rear gets.

Just got a bunch of sand to do some blasting on the bad looking sections to see if they need repaired before I take it to get the whole thing blasted as with our humidity, I like to prime immediately after getting it blasted.

I ordered a full set of paint chips from Monsaliner @magnetman so we can make final decision on paint.

Another question for the masses... my plan is to use the Tundra Column; however move the switch to the dash. For gauges, I just can't get the Tundra gauges to work in the plan, so I need to go aftermarket. Any suggestions of kits that work well with Toyota 2uz engines?

The dakota digital dash guages work well with the 2uz. That is what I have to use with my 2uz. They look and fit similarto the stock guages too.

Those are nice looking.

I am not sure if that will work. Last test fit, it appeared that I needed to mount the steering wheel about 1" higher than stock, so would not be room.

I see, I have not to that part yet. I have the dakota digital clusyer already and was planning to use a 93 80 series column.

I will be watching to see how you move forward.

Once I get the column installed, I will know how much room I have to work with, but good to see some options exist for clusters....

Jegs had this set.... JEGS 41492: Universal 6-Gauge Analog Cluster | JEGS

I use the English wheel to stretch the ribs before I bead them in. This helps with the distortion after. Especially when there is bending After it limits the amount of shrinking.

Have to give credit and thanks to @Tank5 ... he planned out the Tranny tunnel and really original way.... I was thinking about removing the hump on the passenger side and realized that someone had cut and welded it in and that’s when I remembered that the tranny tunnel was adapted for this

The locker actuator on the transfer case was touching the cover...

So I laid out what needed to be adopted...

Also progress on pass side. About ready to weld in. My plan is to swap out the body mount later.

Looking good.

Anyone have one of those eastwood bead rollers? Been thinking about getting one and wanted to see thoughts?

or this one..

They work but need some modification as they flex to much under load.
Plus you need someone that helps and understands how to help to make it work.

Isn't that what Youtube is for?

@Tank5 came through with another body mount... I don’t recall seeing a rubber grommet on these before, was there a wire going through this?
