can you share your opinon about the OME suspension vs FOR suspension .. ?

Tapage, I will get Ben to chime in, it's his rig. Overall, he's been happy with it so far.

I was reading your mag the other day and thinking to myself that it really is the best toyota mag out there right now.

Thanks for doing it!

Thanks Doc and SDog, really appreciate the kind words!

nice pics.
(I ain't taking my beauty on those rocks, that's for sure... :D)

so, are you still happy with the hoops for the Kaymar? thinking about something like that...

e9999,

Seriously, they flatout saved the rear quarters--again--. I'd rate them as equal with Slee's t-case plate and the Man-A-Fre sliders for their protection abilities.

Once they kept me from flopping...went on three wheels there on that rocky hill just outside of the springs. Leaned right over until the weight of the rig was on the Wild West hoop (right side). Took the full weight, stopped the flop. PHEW!

thanks .. will be nice .. since are pretty close equal vehicles and in the same trail, same time .. which get better flex, and overal performance ..

It's a lot easier to just crash into that boulder by the tree, then scrape on through.

:grinpimp:

That damn rock got me going down last november, and going up this year...damn.

It's called "Sullivan rock" FYI.

just ask gifu...

Ben, how are the Terra Grapplers?

Nice! Our club recently ran the Rubicon...took ~6 80's through. I've just got a 2.5 OME Heavy Lift & 33" tires...made it through!

You would know all about that line.......

Looks like fun!

Not necessarily. If you care the least bit about your sheet metal you will hate it entirely. On the other hand if a few thousand dollars worth of body damage entertains you, you will be very pleased.....

Dan, I've seen ya do the Con with zero body damage!

It wasn't my truck (it belongs to my wife) and it did not come out clean. It got tagged on both quarters, both dog-legs and both rear doors. The damage was light and all the stickers disguise it fairly well.

If I were to fix all the knocks "properly" it would cost around 3 thousand bucks.
