So I asked an artist friend to put together a "Rat Fink" based design using an FJ40 as the vehicle. He's agreed - and it should be pretty epic (he's an amazing artist).

I'll show the image when it's done - and certainly if you want to use it for this run's tshirt, great. If not, I'll probably just put the design on cafepress or some other clothing site and sell enough of them to recoup whatever he charges me for the design.

I'm down for some rat fink action.

David, don't count on me for this event. If I do make it, it will be a game time decision for me. With any luck at all, I'll be finishing up a garage that weekend ....

Just some old pic I found on the web .....

Looks like I'm going to make this. Going to try to get the 67 to the even somehow. All it may be able to do is go around the parking lot but that would be an accomplishment considering it's been in a field for 30 years.

The beadlock is on the wrong side of the tire, on that PS front one

I like the concept!!

yeah noticed that. He's not a car guy. I'll have to let him know.

Oh my God, I remember Speed Buggy

We need to get up with @Rainman. He used to do all the GSMTR shirts. Maybe we can talk him into using one of his designs or possibly doing a new one for us. Check this thread for some awesome 'cruiser artwork:

Anybody want some Cruiser art?

lol. I told him more mean, less cute. No beadlocks on the inside of a rim and a solid axle please

He's on it!

If it isn't too late some white spoke wagon wheels. No beadlocks back then.

I'm going to try and make this if I can get a clutch in the 60. Gotta get some parts in first. Fingers crossed!!
