Cleaning up parts as they go back in. Steering stuff. I pulled this shaft earlier and could find 0 play in it amazingingly.
Interesting coating they put in the shaft to take up and gaps to the mating tube.

Working on choosing a radiator. Lots of conversation here about various manufactures. Seems RD is the high end setup. Any other options to consider here?

You don’t have an option for a mechanical fan with that water pump.
The Mosely radiators are really nice for the money and we use them on all our builds.

Picked up a few goodies and small progress. Thanks to Will for the 80 air cleaner
Got a few parts for the x-member. Extended the stock mounting location forward with a welded in flange nut
Started cleaning up radiator rubber parts
And this beauty arrived. Less than a week from talking to Ron himself to it arriving at my door.
Also found some hoses recommended online and they should fit nice when trimmed.
Gates radiator hose part # 22358 for upper radiator hose (with trimming)

Anyone ever get this under wheel well coating off? It’s kind of a nightmare. 50lbs of dry ice ain’t touching it

I saw this spray stuff a dude used but I can't remember the name of it. It was in a aerosol spay used it on sound deadner on the inside that stuff on the fenders is something totally different tho

Right now probably, I am impressed with Toyota's coating adhesion. Or im am going to have to go hard at it with the paint strip discs on the angle grinder
What about like aircraft remover?

@BurntToast dumb question. Is that a replacement panel or is it easily removable? Need to clean mine up in a few spots.

The wheel wells? Fairly easy to remove, maybe 10 fasteners underneath and the seam sealer to break though. Takes about 5 min
