Oh?
Good thing you weren't at wit's end.

Yesterday I sure was. I got my accounts set up with all the vendors needed to put this together. Still waiting for pieces to trickle in so that I can get everything plumbed on my and @jtwopark's trucks and then I can finally determine the final kits and produce the little brackets needed.

This is what happened yesterday that threw me over the edge; I got my next batch of silkscreen data plates back but they completely went off the rails and utterly ignored not only my sample but they ignored the fact THEY did my initial batch.

I can't use the things and now I gotta spend the time and money to start all over again.

Thought you couldn't put this on your truck due to the super charger?

The York can't on mine but the rest of the hose kit is the same regardless if you are using the York or other electric compressor. I'm working on making it standard for our trucks. There will be more than one kit offered.

Rummaging around on the internet turned up some information of possible interest to York 210 or 209 owners.

Specifications, dimensions, identification, service procedures for:
York Heavy Duty
& Standard Models 210, 209, 206
York Super Compact ("Mini") Models SC 209, SC 206

You can really see why the 210 is so rugged & reliable.

A Purdue University Dept. of Mechanical Engineering paper about a York rotary vane design that apparently was not successful, but performance comparisons are made to the venerable 210, which might be of use.

Cheers!

Ok my shipment from Norgren came in so I can really push forward on this now.

At this point I *think* I'm going to use Viair for some things and Norgren for everything else. BTW Swaglock suggested Norgren for this application. There is other stuff I'll be using them for.

I got in 100ft of clear/white and 100ft of black 3/8" nylon.

I also got a pack of each of 3/8" push to connect fittings; straight, elbow and tee.

And I got the regulator from both Viair and Norgren just to test then mount. I don't think it's a massive difference in price but the Norgren one definitely feels better.

Now that my truck is back together I can start laying the fittings and hoses out.

Are those of us that just want the basic kit having to wait for you to develop complete kits before we get ours?

Depends what you mean by "basic kit" and what you mean by "complete kit"?

All of the York bracket and pulley kits will go out the moment the brackets are back from powder coating. It waits on nothing else. Over the next week or so I will be playing first with different bracket configurations for the standard 2.5gallon air tank since that is by far the most common and easiest to design around. I have identified three mounting locations and I will be designing brackets for all three so that you all have options. Once the tank is mounted everything else is easier. For each of those mounting positions there will be a fitting and air line kit to go with it.

I'm talking with someone about coelscing filters now and once I am able to pick the ideal one, I will design the mounting bracket for it along with the required hoses. That will only get one mounting option. If someone wants it post tank they are welcome to do it themselves and figure it out.

Well since only one "kit" was avail to order on your site, I'm speaking of that one. Many of your posts as of late indicate many other parts that you seem to be acquiring that weren't indicated in what I ordered via your site, hence the reason I asked. I assume the others parts you've been gathering are for future offerings that can be purchased separately?

Correct. I haven't determined the other kits yet. But now that the stock came in I can start putting them together.

Looking pretty awesome. Glad you're taking care of all the rest of it too. I'm in for a 2.5g tank. And probably most everything else I need to connect it. I'm thinking a connector in front and back should be good enough.

The brackets are now being powder coated? Why the change from the yellow zinc coating? Will the powder coating be black?

Shoot you are right! I have so much being powder coated that I totally forgot. Actually? I'm gonna hold on that and decide when I see how the welds look. :P

I'm down with black powder. It will save me from having to paint over the yellow zinc coating.

My vote is for the zinc as originally planned.
