I think your rims look good too, you should roll with it. Funny, I've been trying to find a bronze ish powder coat color for mine to change to, but really can't get the warm and fuzzy feeling on what I've found so far. My spare is done in a color I thought was a slam dunk, but not so sure now. If you are like me, wheel color/style is a make or break on the looks of the whole vehicle.

Been Following This thread and I love it man. your truck inspires me on how to make mine look like. functional yet looks amazing and clean. thanks to this thread I found out about BH3D and the goodies they offer. love it. just got my Front Cup holders and will be ordering the rear ones as well as that TEQ badge. also thanks to this thread I found out about SCS wheels. super clean truck. I can't wait to start modding mine!

Spent a long weekend last week in St George, Utah with family. I had my wife and kids along with two of my wife's sisters and their families who are getting into Cruisers and offroad stuff. One family has a nicely built LX470 and the other has a stock FJ Cruiser. Woody had been telling us about the Sand Hollow/Sand Mountain area near St George for a while and we wanted to check it out and finally made the trip. What a cool place! Really fun trails and a variety of terrain, although mostly sandstone and sand.

We ran the West Rim trail along with a few parts of Renegade on the first day. The second day we hit Triple 7's, Milt's Mile and a little bit of TNT. All of these trails were pretty challenging for the stock FJ and he was dragging bottom a lot but made it through almost everything with a little effort. Looking forward to going back and seeing more of the area.

Here's some pics.

16 yr old getting some time at the wheel

I wasn't expecting the amount of sand we encountered on the trails. My BIL with the FJ has a son who came for day 2 with his Rubicon. The jeep is still stock and did well but needed more clearance.

this part of Triple 7's was quite challenging, mainly because of the soft sand and a 3' ledge all on a steep climb. I was the only one to get up this climb.

Milt's Mile

Few minor scrapes. As most of you know my flares/mirrors are plasti-dipped. Makes it easy to repair things like this. Come home, peel it off and respray it for a like-new look. Easy-peasy.

My MTR's have been through a lot since I got them. I've got side wall splits, some tread chunking but they've never lost air and still do great. Been a fantastic tire for the punishment I give them.

looks like a great trip. I love the bubble wrap picture :D

Less out-having-fun-wheeling more building your son's truck. Please.

That flex, slinky ;)

New tires ordered today. Should be here Monday. Just didn't have the cabbage to go with the MTR Kevlars again so I'm trying something different. We'll see how it goes.

A few other minor changes in the works in the next few weeks, including all new suspension links in the rear from Trail Tailor, front swaybar disconnects from Land Cruiser Phil, and a couple other "adjustments".

What all are you doing for castor adjustment? My slinky pieces are starting to show up so trying to figure out what all else needs to be done.

He is using the "Teaser" method on you & you fell for it. Those look like MT Baja Claws to me but I could be wrong... maybe they are the never seen new Yokohama MT.... maybe. :meh:
