So this was the real problem on my frame.

I cleaned it out good and treated the steel but this is what really had me worri d, not the rear shackle stuff.

Ole Blue is all better now and being guarded by a herd of pigs until next week.

Got my truck back from @nvrlose54 at Shaw Fab Company

The frame repair turned out excellent.

He also installed my White Knuckle Sliders

Finally @wct49 and crew did a fantastic job mounting up my new 33x10.50-15 BFG KM3s

What fuel pump and O2 sensor combination did you end up with? I'm putting an AFI system in my 40 soon and want to get it right the first time.

i know it’s a a way better overall set up, is that mpg on the hwy at normal speeds ? I figured you would see a bigger improvement over what were you getting with your city racer carb ?

I’m getting 11-11.5 city driving mostly. This is also off the stock odometer which is off from the tires. I don’t think many have seen much improvement with mpg vs an increase in driveability and reliability.

I always adjust for my speedo off. I have gotten as high as 12.5 but it’s usually 11.5

When I had Stock carb burning a quart per 100 miles it got 13.5 lol

That said I still love it. My Pig carb is messing up. I want to do fuel injection on it.

My limited testing on my FJ40 shows no better mileage (maybe worse), but vastly improved driveability.
