Whats the biggest battery that will fit in starter battery box? Because NOW with extreme aire and red winch drawing at same time Im seriously thinking of reinstalling dual AGM up front but with a blue sea ml acr in the middle. compressor and winch have stalled the truck at idle. and I do have a hand throttle. But still its never happened before The reason I pulled 100AH OE battery was its weight, and the cutting done to my fenderwells by PO was tearing the sheetmetal. But now Im seriously reconsidering triple batteries. Because I cannot pull the lithium not a 1300 for battery alone. laugh, break balls but I pay and try so you dont have to. The red winch requires air for air brake and the compressor kicking on while 14K winch is pulling is a huge amp draw.

actually I found this is slightly larger dimension wise, and 100 extra CCA than my current 1500 series. Is this worth it? my odyssey is 2 years old odyssey 65-PC1750T

Is the air compressor running all the time? Can you fill an air tank to draw from so compressor only cycles once?
i have the 2.5 viair tank underneath and I got all the air leaks from those crappy push fittings squared away fr now. So no but it can defintly turn on while winching. usually winching is in a wet, off camber bad spot. So Im just going overboard probably.

Did you sell your 270 amp alternator? I’d drop that baby in. If you put back your second battery in the engine, match size and chemistry and run them simply in parallel. I think the box will fit upto 13” x 6.75”

You have created more failure points with that winch and compressor situation, ironically. Wouldn't the point of recovery gear to be to help in an emergency rather than require complex systems to keep alive?

I fail to imagine how doomsday preppers would choose that overly cumbersome winch setup
Well, there ARE other winch setups that have a history of great brake and pull performance without all the complications.😎

I think once he gets it sorted, it will be a very good setup. Seems to me the Air compressor is drawing way to much, I wold look into adding an ARB locker compressor for the winch or something similar. I wouldn't think the air side of the winch needs such a robust system.

Looks like you already have the biggest and best Odyssey, right there.

Seems way overly complicated to run a winch as others have said...what am i missing here??

Ill never add an ARB anything to anything else ARB is hencho en china and has failed everytime I got it its all good running perfect. BUT I would really like a slightly larger odyssey in the driver side spot. And doomsday prepping much like every other comment from @nukegoat doesnt apply. And Id be stoked if I werent already me, because I buy and USE everything that is offered for the 80 and if it fails it fails on me, and even tho I know Im going to hear Shiite I still post results, good bad indifferent. So thanks gents heading to california so I gotta pack the truck.

The Odyssey 31M-PC2150ST Is one Bad A$$ Battery Fits nicely with little modification

It sounds like you need a higher output alternator
