heres a couple randoms.. the buffalo next to my "daily driver" 2019 lexus UX250h aka Huxley. i was the first person in the southeast region to get a hybrid and i ordered it 11 days after they were available for purchase. it had 6 miles on it when it showed up. its a pretty cool car i like a lot but nothing like the land cruiser.

Wow!

I didn't realize that changing the rear bumper made THAT much difference!

It looks like a whole different truck!

Been enjoying watching this! Us intown folks need to get together and drink beer and stare at each others trucks!

you can see the angle of the side bar pretty good here, and i cut the lower 45 on the 2x4 at that same angle..

tomorrows projects include capping off the sides, adding a decorative gusset on the side bars, and installing the swing out spindle.

Bumpers looking good. Those toyos are gonna be heavyyyy but mine are too. You planning on tying those wings to the frame leading to the wheel wells?

im not sure about the toyos, i was meant the wheels, i should have clarified that in the post. the toyo was just a good "off road looking" tire for the sake of example. i cant stop looking at maxxis trepadors but really dont need anything that serious. i had ko2s on my 4runner and i really liked them on road, super quite, great smooth ride, but they wernt the best off road. we'll see what happens when these mud hogs s*** the bed haha

as far as the wings go, they're really only there to help protect the body/flares when backing up in the bush. im not sure if ill tie them in more or not, i can stand on them as they are now, and i want to keep the truck as light as possible.

Are you going to convert your steelies to beadlocks of just run the rock rings? Trepadors definitely look sweet but I’m sure those things will sound like an airplane is flying right outside your truck.

I’d tie them into the frame if you plan on playing in the rocks. I’ve seen too many lower quarters bashed in by bumpers to count. My labs bumper is tied to the frame and even if gets close sometimes.

Wow- Beautiful work!
