Ben, what might be the possibility of an overhead SG mount with a row of 6 switches immediately below? It looks like there may be some room to make it work without interfering with visibility in the mirror, but couldn't say for sure.

Looking for a nice place to stick about 6 buttons or rockers within easy reach of driver that doesn't look like it was just stuck on somewhere.

For smaller rocker switched, yes.

I am working on a switch mount for models that have minilink (small opening).

It looks like this.

How many switches do you need? 6?

The small rocker switches can handle 20A. Is it up to the spec of your applications?

This is all very early stages in my mind. I'm thinking 5-6 buttons switches, haven't decided on anything yet. Was leaning toward the ch4x4 OEM style buttons but they're likely way too big.

Ultimately I'm wanting to put all accessory lighting in one panel, and wonder if there's any room for it incorporated into the overhead SG mount. It may not be plausible.

Better wait for the ashtray replacement. We have plenty of space in there.

My wife had to DD the cruiser for a month and the Scangauge kept falling out due to the velcro glue failing and it was hanging by the wire. So she finally broke it off.

When I found it on the kitchen counter I took the opportunity to replace the plug ends on the cat5 and finally install the mount. Works like a champ. The gauge is a press fit.

Thanks Ben!

I have a group 31 battery in the stock location using the Slee tray. I used the Slee second battery tray (with my ARB dual compressor mounted to it) after taking the AHC out. Right now, my setup is that everything runs off the Group 31, and the second battery is just a jump battery with a momentary switch in the dash to connect for jumping (both batteries charge from a Redarc BCDC1225D). The inverter outlets and the 12v outlets i put into BenCC's panels are all direct wire to the group 31 battery - the inverter directly and the 12v plugs run through a fuse block mounted in the driver side rear cargo area behind the panel with the jack so it will be accessible. I left the second battery alone, so I'll always have a way to start the engine even if I mess up and drain the group 31. The inverter is mounted behind where the cubbies were in passenger side of the third row/cargo area. The way it mounts, you lose the small cubby completely and about 1/3 of the big cubby. I'm going to modify the big cubby by cutting it off the end part, cutting off enough to clear the inverter, then gluing the end piece onto the rest of the cubby piece - basically, shortening the length of the big cubby so 2/3 of it will still be usable. I'm out of town for a couple days but can post some pics when I get home on Wednesday.

Here is a pic of the inverter when I pull of the small cubby cover. Also, a pic of the fuse block above the jack.

Yeah that would probably work. In my head they're all one row beneath the SG.

Ultimately as long as I can get lighted, specifically marked buttons or switches (like OEM) them it'd work for me.
May not have the space. Need depth behind the switches for the terminals and connectors.

If there's a company that manufactures the switches (the ones that would fit) with customizable text/graphics (like my fan switch pictured from ch4x4) then I'm all in.
