Tons of small chips to touch up and then wax it up with the new polisher. I still want to repaint the flares and door handles but this is it for now

Also got my new stereo installed. It's an alpine with a nice touch screen, blue tooth connectivity, sirius and Pandora. Running four new door speakers with an amp. New sub with its own amp. First good stereo of my life (about time)

Building a new dc front driveshaft. Got this from a 95 4runner. The transfer case end has the wrong bolt pattern so a buddy at a machine shop welded up the holes, re centered it, and drilled the new pattern . Now it's at a drive train shop getting lengthened. Got more done over the weekend, front axle service, major birf soup. Both birfields seemed good but had grooves on the axle. The old seals were not recessed in the axle all the way so I tried a little grinding on the seal to make it seat deeper in the axle housing and hopefully ride on a fresh part of the axle. I'll watch it and if I get oil seeping past I'll try heavy duty seals

Also got my 4runner dc driveshaft back and installed. Very tough fit with the skid plate in there. Runs as smooth as it did with just the rear shaft. Still might have to do longer lower arms for what seems like rear vibration. I'll pull the rear shaft and see if it smooths out fitst

Pulled the rear driveshaft to get it balanced before messing with control arm mods. Was out of balance a bit. Vibes are nearly non - existent but some there still

Put on new 7" round led lights and used the slee headlight harness with auxiliary light harness to oem dash switch. I'll try to post a night shot, they're pretty nice. Also repaired the winch, needed a new solenoid. My son and I rode around the Grayling area a bit this weekend. Not technical but scenic

We'll, now I'm not so sure. It's got sway bar spacers that say FOR so I'm assuming Frankie's off road. The coils are silver-I think that is Slee's color. Panhard adjusters that look like a kit, and 70L and 71L extended length OME shocks. So I'm don't know. I haven't changed it any since I got it though. Rear still sits a little high but I've got more gear to hang off the back - double jerry can holders and hi lift jack. I have an idea for a removable rack to hang my motorcycle from too. Future project

That's the real, and much better, version of Wagon Wheel! What speakers did you put in the rear doors?

Sorry it took a day to reply. Old Crow is awesome. My front and rear speakers are the same. Not sure what model. They measure 6" across the grille so I guess 5 or 5 1/2 inches in diameter. I'll get some more specific info from my buddy who installed them at his shop. I also have a picture of the box the head came in

Fresh wax on both trucks today. Seems like they are never both clean at one time.

Awesome 80 man. I think that's what mine dreams to be...haha. What do you think about that TRD supercharger? Would it be worth the money in your opinion?

Ive had the white truck for five years now and I thought it was fine on power, until driving my new one. Ive never driven a supercharged 80 without the intercooler but I'm sure it helps a bunch. It has a lot of power. That being said, my ultimate plan if the $ is there is to put the SC on the white truck, go turbo on the collectors edition truck with new engine management system and look for big power. Kind of a scottryana (ryan) copycat job.- check out his thread, pretty cool

It seems like the supercharger should have been put on all 80's from the factory. It's great

I'll have to look into it. I always wondered how a 2JZ would work under the hood of an 80, but then again its not exactly built to be as durable as the 1FZ. Seriously been contemplating ordering a factory supercharger (when money ever happens to roll in) and slap it on my 80, figured if I'm already getting bad mileage whats a little worse? :grinpimp: But that's future. Curious to see where the inter-cooler came from though...great Idea and it'd be easy to source one off of a WRX.

any idea where the hood scoop came off of?
