Truck looking amazing!!!! excellent work Pat!!!
Thanks buddy. Still have to get my Land Cruiser Heaven leathers installed. Going to be part of a complete interior redo- sound deadener, wiring, carpet, seats, door panels. Project starting soon!

Another piece for more convenient airing down. I did a search on mud and some other sites and found the affordable way to do CO2. I had my buddy at my local welding supply get me a 10lb tank and a 150psi regulator. I got the guage and hose on Amazon.com and I had the quick connect fittings. I haven't gotten the final bill on the tank and guage but it's going to be way less than a store bought setup. Works great!

Getting ready for the CO trip. Got cleaned out and put my platform back in. I'm just leaving it opened up as it will be just me, then my daughter when I pick her up in Loveland.

I also wanted some back up power assurance since I only have a single battery (for now). I bought an Antigravity XP 10 jump start battery. Good piece of mind and should be handy for lots of things.

CO2 is one of the fastest ways to air up but if you plan to do expo type travel any given time away from home you will find it a problem.

Good point. I must say, I am excited for the day I can make an extended trip a problem!
I do have my little Superflow with me too. I like redundancy.

Finally getting around to installing my Wits End lock box. It's been waiting patiently for its turn

Install was super easy! My Ruger fits laying down with the short clip in it. I still have to put the side liner in it but a really nice product indeed.

Well, after one day of driving after doing the rear axle bearings/seals I got a rear caliper hanging up, sooo, I bought NAPA reman calipers and put them on today. They look to be of good quality so we'll see
I really wanted mechanical repair to end a week ago to get some local miles before my toad trip. Oh well.

I am now about 40 hours from the biggest trip I've ever taken my cruiser on and the repairs keep coming. I should be prepped and waiting but work is busy, getting my family as ready as I can to not have issues while I'm gone, mother nature, and mechanical surprises have kept it interesting for sure.
I had a lightning strike 3 days ago that took out a bunch of stuff in the house, but luckily the shrapnel from the tree didn't hurt the cruiser, one 6 foot 25 pound piece landed next to it, and a bunch of chunks scuffed up the wood siding on the house,

but no big deal. Tonight I found a four foot chunk in the woods that went over the house and ended up 200 feet away.

I have been dealing with an obd code PO171 which is for a lean condition but I've been unable to find it. I put in new O2 sensors, checked for intake leaks, tested the vapor canister and bought a new one but have not put it in yet, all to no avail. I started worrying that i may have a failing fuel pump, which is rare but possible. The fuel filter is newish so good there.
I decided it's best to eliminate the concern so tonight i put in a new denso supra turbo pump, which is way overkill but I hope it wont be long before a standalone ecu and more boost so I figured now's the time.

Installation went pretty smooth thanks to the write up by @NLXTACY on how to do it.

Too late for test running tonight but hopefully tomorrow the cel stays off! It only takes a short while to pop the PO171 if that's not it.

I didn't get a CEL the day before I headed out on my Colorado trip, so I thought I was good. The day I was leaving, it came back on, ugh! Did a test with some aerosol carb cleaner, and found it was sucking air at the hose from the bypass valve on the supercharger. I felt underneath it and could feel a crack in the hose. No time for proper repairs, so I wrapped it in Gorilla tape and added hose clamps to it. Cheesy fix for sure but I only got CEL's from long deceleration runs occasionally. Highway running was fine. Mountain descents would trigger it, likely due to the high vacuum created.
Finally, this week I tore into it, which is cool anyway because I have a number of things to address. Besides the repairs, my intercooler has gotten to where it looks like s**t the way its mounted. I had been messing around with fitment of the hoses, and while I had it functional, it just kept looking worse.
The picture is embarrassing with how bad it looks, plus it is still filthy from the trip, but hopefully my "after" shots will be a ton better.

I modded my intercooler by drilling holes at the inlet and outlet so I could add a guage to monitor inlet and outlet air temperature. I ordered an ebay guage with dual readouts. I had a buddy weld the 3/8 npt bungs in so that's done, just waiting on the guage.

I used my hot water/soap pressure washer to clean it out a couple of times plus lots of compressed air to make sure I didn't leave debris in the intercooler. The weld job was great, only cost a case of beer (actually he didn't want anything for it, but I sure thought it was cool and well worth it).

The FIPG is amazing as a glue. I had to put a lot of pressure on my scrounged up piece of prybar board to get it to release the supercharger from its manifold. Makes me nervous but I got it.
