I got the tank in permanently. It looks so much better with the rest cleaned up. I just hated to put it together half assed. I gotta quit putting steps off til later.

A shot from straight back, i think it's tucked up there pretty well. It shows a little but not too bad. We'll see.

Very nice build. I installed the OEM aux tank in my previous 80 and it was a pain. I especially like the filler neck. Let us know how it works, especially with fueling and transferring. Really nice and if it works well, I'm sure it will be followed.

Thanks. Hopefully the last little bit wont take too long. Another item i have been putting off is cleaning up wiring so i think a Blue Sea fuse block is going to become part of powering the sub tank pump.

Looking good! I'm assuming you'll just angle the fuel nozzle left or right depending on what tank you're trying to fill? Did you happen to find out what year Tracker the tank came from? This mod is moving up on my list and I'm trying to do it economically. Thanks for all the details and feedback.

I still haven't been back to check the Tracker but I hope to early this week and I will post back. I am using a non US Toyota dual filler neck that fits in place of the factory filler. The little circle blank next to the nozzle opening is where the pull handle comes through and you just pull the handle, and fuel diverts to the sub tank.

Oops. I got your thread confused with another one that has a custom made Y pipe.

@FJP971 , the Tracker I got the tank from was a '99 4 door.

I got a Toyota rear defrost button to repurpose as the sub tank button

Pretty much finished the plumbing, kind of hard to see in the picture but you can see the dual filler, holley blue pump, and the fill and vent lines.

On to wiring which means I have to address the mess underhood. I bought a Blue Sea 12 fuse panel and built a mount for it that bolts to the vacuum canister bracket. Now I also

need to get my relays in order. Once done, I can power up the pump

I bought a 1up USA bike rack a while ago and never really messed with it much cause i pretty much ride from home, but I'm thinking of taking the bike to CO next month with me so time to get it done. It's a two bike rack but i need an extension to clear for two bikes so i took off the front rack and it fit great. If I need two, it's pretty easy to put back.

Wired up a Blue Sea dual USB port in the dash. Like @LandCruiserPhil said, just needs a little trimming to fit. Very minor, I just shaved a little out of the bottom with a razor knife. Now I have power without leaving the key on!

Bought an H3R Performance fire extinguisher and a Wits End mount. Looks great. Hope I never need it.

I have always disliked how my spare pretty much hung backward off of my swing out so I took a cue from @Box Rocket and modded it th follow the trucks body line and center more weight over the top rather than hanging off the back. Looks way better.

Spare tire mod aside, I love your 80! It's really nicely put together and looks great! I like the spare tire mod too .... Obviously.
Thanks man! I usually watch your thread for inspiration to work on my truck.

I've gotten a lot done, but there still is a ton I want to do to the truck. Never ending I guess.
