The Drivers seat in my wife's LX-450 is tired, and finding a decent 80 series seat to replace is difficult.
Does anyone know if the 100 series seat is a bolt in fit for the 80 series?

Thanks

You can buy OEM replacement cushions and aftermarket leather.

Can the 100 series seats be installed with some fabrication? Or is it a fitment issue? Can't find reason why the 100 seats won't 'fit'

I know mudgudgeon listed out his efforts to fit them a recent thread last week. Not to be contradicting the 'knowledge' of mud on the issue but yes they can be installed with sime modifications and fab work. Yes they are wider and a tight fit in an 80. An NC club member has them in his 450. His PO did the mod.

where can you find these aftermarket leather covers?

There have been several options discussed here on the forum. Belgium may be your challenge but Lseat.com is one popular option many have used. Several threads on them.

Personally I’d grab this set for quality Parts and supporting a contributing mud member.

Another thread just started that looks like LSeat may be DOA.

Which brand of aftermarket seat leather has the issue of the color layer peeling off after just one year??

Resurrecting this old thread.

The motors and switches in my 80 seats are all bad and need to be replaced. The seats need to be completely rebuilt. I was considering doing some fabrication and adjustments to make them go back 2 inches further while I rebuild them. I am 220 lbs and 6 foot 2 inches tall, so in light of all this, I think I will look for some seats from a 100, 200, or GX with functioning motors and see if I can make them fit.

This pic is from an FJ60 seat bracket, but it was the best pic I could find, and it is basically the same. There is room on the rail to drill out the rivets and re-drill a hole about 2 inches forward, which would move the seat two inches further back. While I make these modifications, I could also make the adjustments needed to fit the other seats in the 80. I would bolt and weld everything in, making sure it is strong and secure for safety reasons.

If possible, I might also see if I can lower the seat an inch, so I am not looking out of the top of the windshield.

Has anyone done this mod before? Tell me if I am crazy!

I found this thread and I am reading through it now... it might be helpful.

I know there are pleanty of other seats that can be made to fit, but I would like to keep it Toyota if possible.

Seats out of a 2006 GX470 look like they might fit??
