I got my drawers in from Slee, and finally got time to get them all unboxed and disassembled so I can bolt the frame into my 80.
I have to agree with others about the quality of the instructions. Lots of useless detail, and lots of needed detail missing...
Anywho, my kid-on-Christmas-morning state of mind that I've had since I first unboxed these has faded into a level of disappointment on par with blue balls on prom night. I've moved the hat racks to where the vehicle specific instructions said to place them on the frame. I was expecting them to align with the bolts for the 3rd row seat brackets, and I'm expecting this to be a no-drill installation based on what I've read. However, upon placing the frame in the cargo area the hat racks are several inches from the 3rd row seat brackets....
I pulled the rear carpet and found a vinyl floor mat underneath, which was a nice surprise since I wasn't too keen on having these metal drawers mounted directly to the metal floor. I lifted the vinyl to look for additional mounting points, but the entire cargo area is covered in sound deadener.
I'm not really excited about the idea of slicing and dicing through the sound deadener hoping to find a hole that I can bolt to, and I don't have access to another 80 to look for hole positions.
Does anyone have pictures and or measurements of available bolt hole locations to which I can mount my drawers?
Am I missing something that that is going to make me violently facepalm sometime tonight?
