Ok, who has installed an accessory jack (USB, 110v Receptacle and Power Socket, etc.) into the face of their set up?

What did you use? Where'd you buy it? Are you happy with it? Did you post pics of it?

By "face" do you mean the dash?

I have that stuff going in on Monday at Slee...but not in front.

Ah! Pretty sure I'll have exactly that in about 5 days. I'll post photos...

I installed electronics on the trim kit panel closest to the passenger-middle seat. I'd be happy to share pics in a few weeks if you'd like (truck is currently en route to Colorado).

Anyone have a setup like this? I'd like to find one with a metal face plate, if possible.

I have two of those in our travel trailer. The face plate and socket assemblies are plastic. They work fine - my kids use the USB ports to charge their cameras, and the 12V socket has a small 6" fan plugged into it. My only complaint is that the sockets will rotate in the face when you tighten the plastic nut behind the plate, so you'll probably want a dab or two of super glue underneath the lip of the sockets when you install them.

i have those in my golf cart and they seem to work fine. They often get wet (light spray) and they don't seem to be bothered.

Look at the available amps on that unit though. I would prefer a second 12V outlet, and simply plug in a USB charger such as the one I linked to below, that gives full power. It has four full 2.4 amps on all four USB plugs. -So you can charge up to four iPads or large tablets at full speed...or phones at very fast speed. Many adapters do what that one does...one 2.1 or 2.4, and another that's only 1.0 amp. Nearly all recent USB-charged devices are able to handle (and charge faster from) 2.1 and 2.4 amp units, and charge super fast when they do..

Another tricky spec claim to get past are chargers that boast a higher output, but that SHARE their total amps, so if you try to charge two larger devices (iPads), it splits 3.4 (or whatever) and you are really getting too little juice. They'll say 2.1, 2.4, or more, but you have to read the fine print to find out that the more outlets you use, the less power you get.

Here's a solid 12v USB charger that gives the full and reliable 2.4 amps simultaneously on FOUR outlets, for a total of 9.6 amps available. Only $17.99:

Amazon.com: Car Charger: Anker 9.6A / 48W 4-Port USB Car Charger with PowerIQ Technology for iPhone 6s / 6 / 6 plus, iPad Air 2, Samsung Galaxy S6 /Edge / Plus, Note, Nexus, HTC, Motorola, Nokia and More: Electronics

Now that second outlet is ready for other 12v doodads...or four full-speed USB chargers, etc.

My 1.5 cents...

Many of them. We use BlueSea

I installed a Blue Sea on the top rear fixed panel for the fridge. Not much to get in the way there from the underside. This way I could also use it from the rear seat. Putting it on the face will only let you use it when the tailgate is down, but maybe thats your intent

I got my drawers in from Slee, and finally got time to get them all unboxed and disassembled so I can bolt the frame into my 80.

I have to agree with others about the quality of the instructions. Lots of useless detail, and lots of needed detail missing...

Anywho, my kid-on-Christmas-morning state of mind that I've had since I first unboxed these has faded into a level of disappointment on par with blue balls on prom night. I've moved the hat racks to where the vehicle specific instructions said to place them on the frame. I was expecting them to align with the bolts for the 3rd row seat brackets, and I'm expecting this to be a no-drill installation based on what I've read. However, upon placing the frame in the cargo area the hat racks are several inches from the 3rd row seat brackets....

I pulled the rear carpet and found a vinyl floor mat underneath, which was a nice surprise since I wasn't too keen on having these metal drawers mounted directly to the metal floor. I lifted the vinyl to look for additional mounting points, but the entire cargo area is covered in sound deadener.

I'm not really excited about the idea of slicing and dicing through the sound deadener hoping to find a hole that I can bolt to, and I don't have access to another 80 to look for hole positions.

Does anyone have pictures and or measurements of available bolt hole locations to which I can mount my drawers?

Am I missing something that that is going to make me violently facepalm sometime tonight?

Do you have an 80?

Yes, it's an 80. I was able to poke around on the sound deadener and find the 8 bolt holes where the 3rd row seat brackets would have been connected and cut them out with a boxcutter. These will work fine, but they are NOWHERE near the positions that the instructions say to place the hat racks (6" and 30.75" from the rear face of the frame), and don't line up with the holes in the hat racks. This just means I'll need to figure out the new locations for the hat racks and move them forward, then mark their lateral location and drill the frames to bolt them up.

Not sure if there are some other bolt holes that I'm not aware of, but I was pretty sure these drawers were supposed to bolt to the 3rd row seat bracket locations...
