Thanks guys! I got my seats back from the upholsters with new covers from Cruiser Corps and new foam from SOR. Here is a bottom shot so people know that the pans and inside frames got the same attention as the rest of the truck. All the black frame pieces were powder coated except the pans which were sprayed with a couple of coats of gloss enamel...

This weekend I will get the front clip bolted up.... Finally going to have room in my man cave above the garage!

man this thing is like a piece of candy im drooling looking at the pictures. I hope your not going to drive it any during the winter. Thats a great idea with the heater hose as insulation. is it all one piece? as in the insullation is what connects the pipe to the core?

No, it's separate hoses, the insulation is 3/4 hose the actual hose is new 5/8 hose.

Sadly I have to sell this when I'm done to fund my other 40 project. Wish I could keep both but this one has to go.

It's because of all the work on this one I have to sell it. I'm seriously scared to drive it, my next one is all about overlanding with the kids across this great country and won't have to deal with the purist in me!

This thread makes me want to let my thread hide behind the others. Mine will be nice but I don't have the time or budget to pay this much attention to ev-er-ry sing-gle stin-kin part. Man this is nice. I hope you're keeping a notebook full of proof of all this. Make a build book on a Mac and print it up for yourself and the new owner. It will make it feel worth a lot more. I'm planning on a build book for mine.

(imagine me standing up and clapping...)

I finally fixed the crack insulation on the back of my fuse panel with two layers of heavy mil plastic and cut slits for the terminals, little thicker than the original backing and can take heat.

Thanks Rainman, after seeing your and Roma's builds, that really means the world to me. Thanks!!

I'm gonna give you a run for your money this coming weekend. I have a lot of pics to post. Your build is awesome. Great work. One question. That little black cover that goes over the fuel sender. I didn't have one. Is that stock?
