Coming along nicely?
Thanks! Wish I had some of the products you guys have in Australia, could really use a repro floor mat and a set of Narva turnsignals for my other build. I also love those half doors on your rig, very cool.

Fantastic work. Looks like I'm just slightly behind you in progress. Too bad we're so far part. The two trucks would look good together.
Thanks Rainman, with ColoradoFJ40's rig, that would be a cool photo shoot.

Got my new masters on and plumbed the lines. I ended up spraying the masters with a couple coats of Rustoleum semi-gloss black so the machined areas would not rust.

Restored my blower motor using a kit from MetricTLC and installed it. The little clip, I used my rust evaporator and metal treatment on it, turned out nice. I sanded the housing and sprayed it with a Rustoleum plastic paint (granite grey) to give it a uniform color and make it like new again. I spent 30 minutes with some Simple Green and a toothbrush and cleaned the hell out of the inside and the squirrel cage to get the 40 years of crud out of it.

I cleaned all the switches with mineral spirits and Q tips in the terminals and installed them in the dash... Just need the collars for my warm air pull to finish...

Last I installed my little plug outlet in the glove box, it's little details like this that makes me love Mr. Toyota...very cool. I bought a new OEM trouble light just for it;)

Thanks Dale, do you know where you CCOT get's thier "Australian" floor mats at? I need to order a couple things from Australia and figured I could get a floor mat direct from the source.

So clean you could eat off that! Are you the kind of guy that never has lint on your clothes too?!

Very nice attention to detail. :)
Actually I'm kinda slob with clothes but love my vehciles;)

I ordered mine from CCOT. I had an original set of the black Toyota mats front and rear covering the entire floor, gave them away when I converted to 5 speed.

Came home after work today and the wife surprised me with the paint markers I needed to resto my knobs. After following the thread on here and following the instructions, they came out like new! Once again thanks Mud!

My buddy was giving me crap about the quarter size surface rust on the cast iron exahust manifold in this picture. Now I have to go home and wire brush it and hit it with some high temp paint before i can bolt the fenders on. Never ending.....

Thank him later.

Got my front and rear heaters apart and dropped that off with the rest of my pewter stuff to be powder coated. Once I get that together with all new heater lines she will be ready to bolt on all the rest of the body panels and hopefully get towed to Gumby for the timing and fluid levels bleed and final stuff!
