While waiting for the powder coat I started the restoration on my Jack, rods and handle. I wire brushed everything down to bare metal cleaned off all the internal components and re-greased it. Works like new. I coated it with 2 coats of Chassis Saver let that cure, scuffed it up and laid 4 coats of Rustoleum Farm Implement "school bus yellow" on it.

Finally did the rebuild on my heater too from a kit from Shane. Big job cleaning everything inside and out. I used a 50/50 combo of hot water and CLR to clean all the gunk out of the front and rear heater cores. I let the front heater core soak overnight and it came out great, did my own little pressure test and it's air tight.

More pics of the heater resto. I used my paint markers from the knob refresh and carefully applied paint to the raised letters. I also found the perfect color for the plastic pieces for the heater from the first Eastwood storefront that luckily enough,is super close to where I live. The color is perfect!

Georg, was able to find me a very nice heat thing-a-ma-jig (unobtainium) that channels the heat from the front of my exhaust manifold to the valve in my air cleaner. Beno got me the correct OEM hose and clamps. So I finally installed that.

Got the heaters installed. The foam on the hard lines was a little worse for wear after almost 40 years, so I wrangled on 3/4 heater hose as insulation. I think it looks great, and after working it on I have forearms like Popeye;)

Wow...

I got the my fuel separator cover and lines all put together, the one shot is before I realized the lines run behind the fuel neck.... I cleaned the fuel separator and it was like new, must have been recently replaced. The fuel line clamps are new OEM from Cruiser Dan.

Oh yeah I fixed that spot from post 238. I wire brushed to bare metal and shot it with a couple coats of engine enamel. Funny thing there wasn't even any rust under the paint, maybe a little bleed left over from between the manifolds. Weird.... There ya go @cruisermatt
