As soon as I'm cleared by the Doc (rotator cuff last Dec), I'll be doing a knuckle rebuild myself. You make it look like a 1.5 banana job... I'd better just grab a full bunch... lolWhile that is going on I am also knocking out a knuckle rebuild.
Does Valley Hybrids have any in stock? Worst Case, Summit Racing might have Trail Gear in kits.Looks like I'm SOL for a couple of weeks, the wheel bearing kits at @cruiseroutfit are waiting on some parts before being restocked. I guess that gives me time to do some other stuff. That's what I get for trying to reuse parts all the time!
Crap, I'd better get on a waitlist or something...Looks like I'm SOL for a couple of weeks, the wheel bearing kits at @cruiseroutfit are waiting on some parts before being restocked. I guess that gives me time to do some other stuff. That's what I get for trying to reuse parts all the time!

It's not really a hard job, just messy as can be.As soon as I'm cleared by the Doc (rotator cuff last Dec), I'll be doing a knuckle rebuild myself. You make it look like a 1.5 banana job... I'd better just grab a full bunch... lol
I've been looking around at other vendors, even the OEM places, I'll see what is available. A few places would put me around $200 shipped, I'm not in that kind of hurry.Does Valley Hybrids have any in stock? Worst Case, Summit Racing might have Trail Gear in kits.
Realistically there's 18k since the last rebuild, I only dug into it because I have the centering tool in my hands in preparation to help someone else out with his front axle soon.Just out of curiosity, how many miles in between the last rebuild?
Understood... Now to find someone that wants to drinkIt's not really a hard job, just messy as can be.
Having an extra set of hands yhat has rebuilt a front axle before would be extremely helpful.
