Got some 80 series locked axles locally. Rare these days. It will go into the HJ60 -Rootbeer. Planning a Trail Tailor coil conversion on all fours. It’s next on the block. Frame swap to a 62 frame, 5spd conversion. @CenTXFJ60 has been nagging me since I got the frame from him. What started this whole thread! Will be buttoning up timing belt work this weekend.

Before embarking on Rootbeer, had to wrap up timing belt and bits for . All good and off for another 100k. Nice to bolt readily available parts.

@SipLife visited last week to help on the Fj140 build (here) on Rootbeer. Finally a project of mine. We both learned how to shorten an 80 frame to fit under a 60. @SipLife is contemplating similar for his SWB project. Soaked it in.

It’s fall. Heater mix servo was acting up also. So need heat.
