Looking forward to this weekend to wrap us the last 3 coats of primer surfacer to 400 grit on the Mustang. Then sealer/base/clear. Then assembly. Ready to get on to the Cruiser projects.

Frame swap/ H55 on the Hj60
Diesel conversions of the FJ60 and FJ40.
We snagged a HJ45 that my son wants to restore. It’s heading to TX as we speak. He is stoked.

Just secured a 2H for the FJ60. Unloaded it at the barn with my youngest son yesterday. Parts assembly is almost complete.

Looking forward to wrench and body work this weekend with the boys.

We hit a milestone this weekend on the pony. It is ready for base color. Candy apple red. My older son worked hard to get us there. Mighty proud we both are about this. Lot of patience about doing it right.

We also began tear down of a 2H we are rebuilding to go into my fJ40, Kermit. Young guy separated the tranny/ transfer, and we removed bellhousing, clutch, fly wheel. Looks like we will do a rear main seal while we are in there.

Turns out Old Landy came with a ton of cool OEM parts. Catalogued each one in the build thread link ^^^. Here is a sneak peak.

I doubt Old Landy has seen a mall. Wanna keep it that way. ;)

It been raining the last couple of weekends making it a tad difficult to finnish up the pony panels. We have been busy remodeling the master bathroom at the house while we wait. Will hopefully get at things once the weather lets up. Building a homemade paint booth. If you have any pics of what has worked pls share.

Been busy with getting some :princess: things done. Taken a while. Done. Finally. Heading to barn tomorrow to get dialed in on the pony. Got my oldest thinking of a makeshift paint booth. Going to build it tomorrow. Got base coat (candy apple red) and SPI high solids clearcoat.

You too Homer!! Happy Holidays.

So temps have been a tad too low to shoot paint. While waiting we are tearing into Old Landy’s power plant. Doing a full teardown and rebuild.
