I used the gm part # pulley but they gave me the alternate part number for the full disc pulley without the gaps. And the belt I listed worked fine for my engine set up.
so from what i have been researching, when i spoke to matt on the phone he gave me the part # for the 2010 silverado pulley which is larger, so i dont know what belt you need at this point, i imagine the tensioner could take that slack out?

Larger pulley for the power steering pump? Sounds ass backwards to me.

well i did a little research based off what @cruisermatt was telling @LT . io spoke to matt a couple months ago and he gave me part #'s he just now said that he has been doing it for awhile and thought the pulley was the stock on for the 08 silverado. which is the part number he gave me. But he listed here the correct number for the smaller pulley...now the question that LT was asking, what belt part # do we use with the smaller pulley. my thought is the pulley is a little more than an inch smaller, so wouldnt the tensioner take out that slack with the stock belt?

it was all slight confusion and error...no big deal...i just have a stock size pulley at this point...if i need to swap it out i will, but people have made the stock one work.

I've only used the stock pulley
That was my thought. But I have a smaller one I can buy in case I need it now
Alot of misinformation and confusion in this thread lately.
I have been seeing that based off people’s responses. There is a million ways to skin a cat but there’s gotta be some consistency across these builds I’m sure

Im pretty sure @cruisermatt mounts were developed for ls swapping a 60 series with 4l60 transmission but have crossed over to 80 series and guys are making them work. Then change the transmission let's just say in your case 4l80 transmission well that changes location of said mounts to a different location on the frame then we will use you again now we throw in a aftermarket transmission xmember will his mounts work with that who knows. Not everyone is using the same transmission and that changes engine location ,measurements and clearances. The skinning of the cat thing in the end the cat gets skinned but understanding how and why it got skinned is the true question

I totally get it. I used the crossmember because it pushes it forward and I didn’t have to modify the stock one. Now I’m just running into issues why it’s crooked. But I think I’m on track to figuring it out. Won’t know till Thursday or Friday when I can mess with it again.

My original design was "universal" for the 60, when we did the 80 mounts we took the 60 ones and adjusted the "legs" to acount for the narrower 80 chassis. They were mostly deisgned with the 4l60 in mind as at the time that was the most popular transmission choice

Make sense. Well I will report back what I had to do when I get it in this weekend. I think clicking it on the crossmember toward driver side is gonna be the move.

Other option is take material from passenger side and add it to driver side mount but that’s a lot of work and screws up clearance with the differential and drivelines. Or buy another passenger mount and cut to fit type of deal

I've read quite a few swap thread where they used Matt's mounts without issue. Sounds to me like it may be your cross member that is giving you issues seeing as it is the only other component involved beside the motor mounts at this point. 4L80E leaves you less clearance in the tunnel as well so that too may be a contributing factor.

No interference in the tunnel from what i cans ee when I am in there, but the crossmember only pushes it forward, just got off the phone with selkirk. When i mocked it up using the stock Toyota crossmember, it was still crooked and back into the firewall. Using the Selkirk cross member, its forward, no firewall issues anymore. And still crooked. I also have read many swap threads and read many posts with people praising matts mounts. they are high quality. Im just running into a unique issue that i have not found in any thread and wasnt sure if someone has encountered something similar. I will figure it out and make it work. I have to at this point. No going back.

It's all good, thank you to those of you who talked with me and helped out. Sometimes getting another point of view helps get the brain going or see the problem in a different light. Appreciate all the help! Time to get to work on it and make it happen.
