Here's Moody's ride five or six years later.

I'm still around. Wrote my ROTM at the end of my Baylor days, added more to the truck and for the last decade occasionally dropped in to read what's new with 'mud.

Over those years my 80 has shared garage space with some fun characters but nothing as enduring as the 80.
As of 2018 followed by past companions of German, American and current Italian.

Wow, one of the nicest 80s then and still one of the coolest.... That 60 looks great, just got a white 62 that I am leaning on doing the H55F swap... I remember back in the days you had a web page up with your project builds, no more?

Retired in 2014 and shipped off to the recycling bin in 2017.

It's final trip at Logan's Run in 9/2014... Man I do miss my 80.

Once you go 80, you can never go back!:flipoff2:

Only thing I ever lusted for was the 105, but with @NLXTACY turbo around the corner even that’s no longer the case for me. Long lives the 80!

Thanks man, appreciate it. Yeah, there have been brief moments that I had pondered letting it go, but then reality sets in...it will probably be the one i hang onto.

And yes, you're correct....Wild Yoats Toyota 4x4 Assoc. was a club, webpage, and forum back in the day...started out primarily with mini trucks and 4runners back when rockcrawling was popular. Had a lot of fun back then for sure! 😉

Not sure how I stumbled back onto this thread but it made me think it needs a revival for all the forum old-timers! Haha. Last time I posted to a ROTW thread (2008 I think) I still had my 1993 80. Not sure where that truck is now but rumor is it's still out there running around somewhere. But here's an update.

A "changing of the guard" when I had just purchased my current 1995 (grey) Cruiser, still had my Tacoma, and was getting the 1993 ready to sell. In hind sight I should have just kept the 93.

my first ROTW was 18 years ago, I had a lot of fun with that truck going on the Rubicon, Flat Nasty and all over the country

Still here as well. Bought in 04 with 178K. Now at 332k. Added a few more goodies :) finally some body damage from some Gotham city runs :( and now rust creeping in the rockers. The list of wants fro 10 years ago still yet to be completed. Unsure which direction to go from here but I’m certain it’s staying put in the fleet. Itching for another long drive.

I bought TEXUS LEXUS rig. Work in Progress.
You didn't buy his ROTW rig, because I own it.
Texus ROTW <- Currently my DD.

I put a lot of miles on it driving in dirt all over Wyoming and Utah for ten years. Now I live in a giant city far away from any dirt, so it just takes me to work every day. :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

It is really fun seeing the old screen names and getting the updates. Pretty cool that so many of these trucks are still being enjoyed all these years later. Mine has given me so many great memories with my family. So many epic trips that my boys will remember forever. I also love the amount of friends I have made simply because of my Land Cruiser.

Once I get my 4.56s delivered and installed, my build will be done. Obviously it will never be done and there will be tinkering and upgrades in the future, but the “build” will be exactly where I want it for the style of adventure that I enjoy. It really is a perfect platform for what I like to do.

I currently have about 310k miles on mine and look forward to a few decades more of making memories in my 80.

Great to see one the best kept 80’s is still around, it served as great inspiration as I built mine in 2005!

I still have my tree limb lifters and somewhere some unused brackets you fabricated for DRL‘s on an ARB!
