Sweet truck man. I think you did very well. I also agree with your drivetrain choice. After playing a losing battle trying to keep up with Casey @POTATO LAUNCHER 's 60 at SAS3 with the 350 in it (vs my 80 with 4.88 gears and 3" exhaust) I have become a fan. The 350 is such a nice fit and won't break the budget. It now has become nostalgic as well which has coolness factor.

OH NO!!!...The 40 came with the Corona Virus!!! Found this under the seat!

Last pic needs to be a billboard for the virus. Even the cat has its ears up. 🤣

Congratulations! Should be a fun thread to follow!!!

bummer I never saw it for sale! Hope you get another soon. The 40 is still my favorite land cruiser
One of my favorite Yotas was my 87 4R and it was because it was topless with a canvas soft top and I removed the doors. Just fun to have the feeling of freedom. I LOVED our Troopy as she was just so unique. I think the 40 will be a great middle ground for our family and with limited work space a 40’s small stature works well. Also the sheer simplicity is lovely imo.

Exploring kitty, coffee and a couple of dudes.

What’s with the auxiliary turn signal switch? Never seen that before, maybe for the plow lights? Cool rig, great year, will be keeping an eye on this one.

I think your talking about the cruise control mounted on the blinker arm.

Is that cruise control functional? That would be pretty cool.

Pretty cool, I just learned the Cruiser was owned by the PO for 30yrs. Bought it in 91 I think according to the papers I found in the glove box.
