I would have gone Cygnus white with the wheels if I was you. But not everyone is me, and that's probably a good thing. I probably too would clear bra the body being that the paint finish is perfect.
Needs one of these:

Went back and forth in my little Infantry head over wheels and wheel color.

I was thinking about adding some type of armor to protect the paint. Guys at the shop locked the doors when I mentioned the diamond plate.😁

Haha. The clear bra can be replaced every few years and is pretty tough. It would allow you to use it without much fear of damaging the paint. Anyway just throwing the idea out there.

We’re kicking the can on adding the protection. I think they used that product, or one similar, on “72”.

Just ask yourself one serious question before you make any permanent decisions.

What would the Jeep-bro crowd do?

I hate asking myself questions. It always turns into an argument requiring stitches…

FWIW, I have PPF on my 2003 pickup and it's still in great shape despite sitting outside for 21 years...I'm a fan of the stuff and have used it on 6 vehicles since.

Are the glove box and ashtray painted the same color as the gauge cluster? Need to paint both of mine. Wasn't sure if they were supposed to all match or they were different.

Apologies for the delay, I’m in and out of the net and I’m catching a breather today.

I’ve never seen a “real” matching OE pewter/silver on the dash so I can’t speak with any authority. It seems as if every example I’ve seen in the wild was different. To include my own. YMMV.

The guys in the shop color matched the silver from the rear license plate bracket “covers” and used that on all the original silver bits to include a YOTA Easter Egg. 😁

I haven’t kept up here for the past few days..Soooo, popping up to periscope depth.

Looks like they’re getting ready to spray color again.

Busy day in the shop. @Jdc1 bringing me up to speed with a SITREP today. Color is on and the clear is soon to follow. Easter egg in the booth.
