I did and it scared the $&!) out of my son, oh good times!
What is the purpose of the "Throttle" pull knob. I tried to pull it out, it only moves 1/4", slightly raising the idle.
Thanks guys.
Very nice find...but I disagree with your plans
Why not mod the hell out of the '67, and keep this one stock???
Don't mean to piss anyone off...it's just that up here I keep looking for such a survivor, but not surprisingly, they are either all rusted out, or all modified beyond being able to return to stock
Hey, but it's your rig, so have fun with it![]()
Hope you can find one DeanVery nice find...

I, too, have been looking for a very long time for the "ideal truck". I will be driving this truck for a very long time ..I am holding off on the power steering because that is pretty much irreversible (can be done with a lot of work), but the brakes will be converted to 4WD. I am not going to cut it up and drop a V8 in it, ..
More on the damage. Bulkhead has been pushed forward a bit and a little rust. .45 hole through the floor. I think Barney Fife was driving this thing. Are these the original seat belts?
..seeing as I'll probably have a second 40 kicking around, I plan to add , new disk brakes,....., and use it as a DD basher...but, that will be after I finish restoring the '64 back to it's original beauty
