Hey Guys!
Just a note, I do still make the Original Style connectors which deletes the 3rd row seat functionality.

Cheers,
TheOzMan
Hello, OzMan, how do I go about buying two of the original configurations? I can't seem to find the right button lol. Thanks in advance! Aaron

I too would like to buy the T-adapter if they're still available.

I hope he still makes them. I bought 2 from him years ago and they are tied for the most important mod one could do. Tying two together gives you some good stable power. They were instrumental in wiring up my accessories and USB ports and to get ready for my future fridge.

You might be able to reach him through his Instagram site and message there

I noticed he hasn’t logged in here since early April

I don’t recall receiving any external email notifications for PMs generated on this site.

Anybody have any idea where/how to find the harness/connecter end that could connect so we could make our own?

Wish I didn't already take my third row seats to the dump... coulda cut off the connectors on that end and reused them. :-/

You should just be able to get them through a Toyota dealer / Post #76

I still never heard from the O.P. on here, nor on Insta, nor on YouTube either. YMMV. 🤷‍♂️

So i ended up ordering a count of 10 sets of male connector housings with pins from AliExpress using the "7282-4855" part number found on post 76. I bought them from user "YQLASD Store". Took about 2 weeks to get them shipped to me in Southwest Utah. (FYI 10 count was the minimum order amount. I'm willing to share them if anybody wants one or two PM me. And I guess I could be persuaded to make one with wiring for you if you really wanted. But I only have the male ends, so I can't make the T-harness. :) )

Built my own harness using 14AWG i had sitting around already and -- bodda-bing bodda-boom -- I've got a dedicated power outlet for the ARB fridge using one of their threaded socket outlets.

I hemmed and hawed on where to make the hole for it, but I'm just barely starting to think about what else I want back there, so wasn't fully ready to make a new hole in the side panels anywhere. Ended up drilling out this spot on this switch bezel located on the frontside of the lefthand wheelcover/armrest. (Righthand side has one too, but it's got 3 switches in it and is not really conducive to fitting a 1" round hole cleanly like the other side.) Was super easy to route the wiring behind the panel since I'm already sans the 3rd-row and have Dobinsons drawers in there.

Had an extra blank sitting around so threw it in instead of the seat tilt switch, but I'm going to add a dual USB outlet with voltage display into the upper rectangular spot. Just ordered them up though once I figured it out so be a couple days. Will be a nice spot for my kids to plug devices in from the second row seats too. Charging cables will be nice and out of the way.

Super happy with how it turned out. :)

In fact, I like it so much, I ordered the same lefthand side switch bezel used off ebay and I'll be doing the same thing on the righthand side, but using a standard 12V cigarette lighter style socket in the lower spot instead.

Thanks to those who figured all this out!

Hello Folks,

I have found a way to harness the 2 3rd row seats power circuits that are fused at 30A directly from the battery and always on without messing with OE harness. The OE wiring are not really rated for 30A but it can be safely used for around 15A of constant use and a spike within 30A. The GX460 are the worst in terms of providing power outlets to the rear cargo are and with these connectors, you can get up to 25A to power anything you would like (1 connector for each side merged together). If using only 1 connector, then the recommended amp draw is no more than 15A.
This is only applicable to GX460s with powered 3rd row seats
  • These connectors can be used to power a fridge, USB outlets, and 12v outlets.
  • Because these circuits are directly connected to the battery, you can add an appropriately sized solar charger.
  • You do not need to remove your seats to use these connectors.
  • They come with 3ft 14awg lead wires.

Price is $42 per connector or 2 for $75 shipped to your door anywhere in the Continental US. if outside the Cont. US, we can discuss further.

Here is a video that I made recently for the install (First video ever so not that great lol):

Thanks and Cheers!

Update: SOLD OUT of T-Harness style!!!!

By popular demand, I will now be offering a T-Style Harness to maintain full functionality of the 3rd row seats while utilizing the circuit for an unlimited 12v possibilities.

This harness is made with 14 AWG for the power wires and 20 AWG for signal wires ( larger than OE harness for durability).

All OEM TOYOTA connectors and terminals.

The 3 ft. external power leads are soldered and heat shrunk for best strength and conductivity.

The price is $70 shipped to your door anywhere in the continental US. Anywhere else, we can figure something out.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to order.
