I installed the oem coil over spacer and Spidertrax wheel spacers. Some minor rubbing due to the wheel spacer so had to reshape the fender liner somewhat.
Last Friday got my HE and as well thought about going KO2 in 65 size. I see those only come E rated. How is your ride comfort comparing to Dunlops the truck came with?

Thanks.. Looks great!

Good to see some members secure their dream trucks. Now is not the time to let a truck pass you by. You can walk out of a used deal there will always be another used Cruiser for sale, for now there will not be another NEW Cruiser for sale.

Exactly why we bought a few weeks back.

Nice, looking at a standard silver with terra myself.
Better get looking. That might be the rarest color combo out there. I had to buy from 500 miles away to get a Blizzard/Terra.

Good luck! Silver was my next choice. It looks great.

It’s fine to me, but I only drove it around the block before switching to the BFGs. Probably not a good comparison!

I have found two so far. One is quite a bit cheaper than the other and the higher says they can't do better. I have black in my tundra and have a hell of a time keeping it clean in our environment so wold rather keep with the terra like in our Sequoia.

I'm going to install a set of KO2s on my HE. I installed a set of 265 65s on my 12 GX 460 and they ride and balanced great. They ride a little bit harder than the stock tires but are still smooth and quiet on the highway. Bought them through Discount tire about 6 months ago.

I found 285/65/18 KO2s overwhelmed the stock suspension based on the significant weight increase and IMO a bigger factor here, the higher required pressure. Sharp bumps in particular sent reverberations through the chassis, and this wasn’t a thing at all with the stock p285/60r18s. That said many people like this setup, maybe I’m just too picky about how suspension and tires work together.
Mine is a 2013 but had new factory toyota dampers on it at the time, so should be a lot like a new 21.
Also not sure whether this is a factor for you but your mileage will drop when switching from P-metric to LT-metric.

Please report back when you install. Each trucks reacts differently. On my previous LC I had 20 wheels and had as well KO2 but those were D rated which felt slightly harsher but the truck was less floaty which was a good compromise. I am worried with E may be too hard.

My exact worries you have mentioned. If those KO2 would be C rated like I have seen on my neighbor's new wrangler it could work very well. E rated could be spine shakers. My off roading is limited to driving on the beach and snowy path in the mountains so don't need strong sidewall protection.

Thing is, while it is lighter than E, C-load still requires the higher pressure. Yes it is less robust construction but compared to the difference in tire spring rate over p-metric due to inflation pressure the construction will barely register. I’ve found the big difference to be inflation pressure.

You can experiment with this by inflating your stock tires to the top of their pressure range and note the difference in ride quality. Same weight and construction, but you’ll definitely feel a harsher ride.

I doubt you will be able to get an HE under $80k anywhere with 0 miles unless ya work for the store. The longer things go, the less discounting there will be. Mine came in last week and we don't have any more slated to come in for at least 2 more allocations. None of those will be discounted a penny.

This reminds me of fj cruisers the last year we could buy. I almost bought one just to park and keep, ideally would have been a ultimate edition trail teams with 6speed. Looking at what they sell for on bat that would have been a good idea.

My phone must be spying on what I look at. 5 mins after visiting this thread

Nice, but black or terra interior? That is the question!

Below 80K maybe not as strip down version invoice is 80.1K and doubt dealers will go under invoice at this point as there is no incentives and to get 3% back from factory they need to wait a year BUT just bought at invoice a week ago for 80.4K (had something at port added). There was a demo with 2K miles I could get for 3% below invoice. So if you are willing to hit few dealers and work them through internet department definitely you can still make an excellent deal.

Mine has no options from factory or port and invoice is $81,330.70 and MSRP of $89,390. Granted I did pay under that, but that's because I work here and we have not sold an HE for a discount to the general public nor will they. As time goes on we get more and more traffic on them so I don't think that will subside.

What was your price?
