Mine has no options from factory or port and invoice is $81,330.70 and MSRP of $89,390. Granted I did pay under that, but that's because I work here and we have not sold an HE for a discount to the general public nor will they. As time goes on we get more and more traffic on them so I don't think that will subside.
I go by Edmunds.com pricing details and according to them the invoice is 80.1K before any options.

They can get fairly close. I have access to my deal here at work so I can just pull up the actual invoice for my specific Cruiser at my desk. SET does have a couple fees included in the invoice that TMS does not but still pretty close.

I installed the oem coil over spacer and Spidertrax wheel spacers. Some minor rubbing due to the wheel spacer so had to reshape the fender liner somewhat.
Looks great! Do you think you'd have any rubbing without he Spidertrax spacers?

Please report back when you install. Each trucks reacts differently. On my previous LC I had 20 wheels and had as well KO2 but those were D rated which felt slightly harsher but the truck was less floaty which was a good compromise. I am worried with E may be too hard.
I will report back. I do pull a small RV trailer as well as drive off road. I drive BLM and Forest service roads here in the west so I dont mind sacrificing a little ride quality for a strong sidewall.

Agree with several points in the thread, both that it is antiquated tech (which indeed is a feature) and that these tend to move slowly off the lot. I think there are even a few new 2019 models still for sale out there. However, even the older year models don’t drop in price that much. The other thing to consider is if you have your eyes on a he three row or something less common you’ll have to pay. 70k out the door however even for a base model isn’t realistic

I have a deposit on silver 2-row HE, getting it for $82k + tax. Tried to get a better deal even further away, but no dice. Eric wants ~$83.5k for same.

In the late spring I could have gotten 2020 HE in Blizzard Pearl (extra) for $80.8k + tax, it does not seem to be doable now.
At what dealership did you get this deal? I live in Maine and would travel to mass. To get a deal...

This was in CT. Torrington Toyota. Backwater dealer, probably unlikely to have another one. Try one that has the car in stock. Manhattan Toyota seems to still have one. I called them asking to beat Torrington but they were unwilling. They later called as if they wanted to deal but it was too late.

Thanks for the info. I will try to order one at my local dealer. I read today that toyota may still come out with the 300 series in the US. My plan was to buy a 2022. I have a 72 fj40 97 80 25yrs apart for my collection.

Can you share where you read that Toyota is thinking of releasing a 2022 Land Cruiser in the USA please ?

I was looking at one of my local dealers I have bought from in the past they have 4 LC , 2 are base models and 2 are Heritage , one has 3rd row other does not . 3rd row is 92k and standard is 90k
Base models are 87k
If I was leaving the LC stock and just wanted as last year , I guess it would be cool if you left it alone .
I think you get a better buy with a base if your going to do mods , for me its the body side moldings , cooler box ,
I don’t like the roof rack , wheels are ok and I have to pay extra for 3rd row .
If your doing mods you get more truck for your buck with a base .
Just my 2 cents

I actually decided the opposite based on the same logic. However, I loved the wheels which are high quality (BBS). Had I bought a base, I'd swap the wheels and do something about the side molding which ranges from a hundred or two to wrap vs much more to delete plus paint match. Plus every base here has the TV screens, which I desperately am not interested in, so paying and extra 2k which southern California dealers weren't budging on to delete those. The only concession that I was 50/50 on was the cool box. However, I'm happier with the extra storage and have a large collection of insulated bottles. Too each their own. I agree if you don't like the wheels, it's a tough upsell.

Someone on here did a post on adding a Cool box to a Heritage and Eric Sarjent from Martin Toyota said the parts to just add a cool box could be 10k ... crazy .
I don’t mind the BBS wheels , I like the RW 17’s better thats what I have for mine , too each there own .
This current 2019 I have right now is not my DD , my last LC that I did use as a daily driver Base with body side moldings parking way away from people wanted to park right next to me and still got door dents , damm rude people .
My tundra’s would collect dents looked like a golf ball , tundras don’t come with side moldings .
Crazy thing this time last year I could have had the Heritage for about 78k , my area they could not give them away , one dealer had 6 MSRP was 88k last year and no takers .
The base was a better seller with toyota families having the 3rd row and as you said TV’s .
You guy have been getting hosed with gasoline prices for the past 5 yrs for nothing but political BS , $4+ a gallon does not help the Thirsty LC , I lived in California 10yrs ago but commuted for work monthly and got to see the wonderful fuel prices .

I originally was set on the HE but after getting the base I am very thankful I didn't. My family uses the cool box regularly and the 3rd row has come in handy quite a few times. Also, I would have had to remove the roof rack anyway to fit into my garage, where it would have just stayed since we put kayaks on top of the base racks. I agree the HE looks better, but I'll add some black TRD wheels and mods as I go.

Also, I personally feel that the leather on the base is far superior to the HE leather. Just my 2c, sorry to get derailed on a pricing thread. All I had to do was drive the base after longing for the HE and my attitude changed 180 degrees. No regrets.

That's funny because I would say the exact opposite with the leather. Not that the leather on my 17 was bad, it's really good, but the HE leather I think is just as good but the stitching seems to be more robust. Might be a thicker material they use for the gold contrast stitch, but it is definitely nicer than my 17.

The leather in our new LC has already shown more wear in five weeks than our 2019 LX570 did in nearly two years lol.
