I'll try to find a pic after they were freshly painted.

So I’m playing around with putting these steelies on my 99LC.

My question is: is there no effects of running them without the hubcaps? What would those effects be if so? I saw someone earlier in the thread with the hubcaps on and also painted black but I am just not too into them because they are so stinking huge. Though once installed in that other pic I guess it didn’t look too bad. Other reason is I didn’t paint my caps and now I don’t feel like doing it anyway.

Attached is my 15 dollar paint job.

No problems running them without hubcaps. I've been doing it for a couple of years.

Do you have or are you interested in a matching spare?

I bought two set with the thought of keeping a 5th and potentially a 6th spare. So I have a few laying around if you're interested.

Tundra wheels look better on the beach:flipoff2:

Great wheels! And overall looks awesome. I just bought a 2004 LC, can’t wait to give it new life. Do you have stock suspension or any other upgrades?

Thanks I appreciate it. Congrats on the '04, is this your first cruiser? I have the stock AHC suspension, Tundra wheels, rear bumper and roof rack. Need to upgrade the rear springs to compensate for the weight of the rear bumper soon.

Yes, my first for sure. I def know that my stock suspension is old, that’ll be my first project. I carry lots of loads and usually almost filling up all the rear cabin space. It’s daily restaurant produce and equipment. But I also want to take it on trails occasionally. Time for me to read up on all these threads, there’s so many this is great *
