We are going to need pictures immediately. I’m picking my set up in the middle of June but won’t have them on for a month or two.

I'm putting an awful lot of trust in UPS :) and went ahead and setup a tire appt for Friday morning for my set of gunmetal five stars. They are set to arrive tomorrow. So excited for new shoes!

Looks like your wheels were delivered today. Let us know how you like them, and please post some pictures if you can. Thanks again!

Thank you for purchasing the last (for now) set of Five Stars that we had in-stock . I look forwarding to hearing how you like your new wheels too!

Couldn't be happier now that they are on the truck! I did need to do some "nub/lip" cleanup on the hubs for the center bore to fit over them, but once that was cleared up we were good to go. This pic doesn't really do them justice, but the more aggressive stance and taller side-walls looks so great. I'm sure I'll take some better shots over the weekend.

I went with 275/70/17 KO3s. Same overall diameter we were running on the OEM 18"s, and I feel like it's a good balance of side-wall without any concern for rubbing.

Looks damn good! A really clean look. Strong.

Looks great @PNWLX ! Thanks again! Is that an S13 in the garage too? Pretty sweet!
Good eye :) . I've been a Nissan guy most my life.

The 100 series has been so great to us and it was long overdue for nice wheels. Already received some unsolicited compliments while running errands today, which is always a great feeling after a big purchase. Excited to get them dirty this weekend.

Great picture! Where did you go on your camping trip?
This was just a night at Cape Disappointment here in Washington. It's a great state park for the trips we'd prefer to have a reservation and is close to home. In this case we had friends already going so we just took over their parking spot at their site. Perks of the rooftop tent. They overwhelmingly approved of the new wheel and tire setup.

We are heading toward Mendocino in a couple of weeks for a brief family reunion, if anyone has good camping recommendations for anywhere between there and the Oregon border, we're looking!

I’m going on a one night Mendocino national forest trip on June 27th. It will be my first time and my first over night in my LX. I’ll give you the trail report if you haven’t made your trip yet.

I've received a few messages asking about the 18" BFD for the Landcruiser 100. The fitment is a little bit aggressive, but they still look really good on the 100-series. Here are a couple examples.

LX470 w/ 18x9" +18 5x150 BFD and 35" tires (very aggressive setup):

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share an update with you all.

17x8" +30mm 5x150 FN Five Star flow formed wheels in matte bronze and matte gunmetal for the 100-series are on order with our manufacturer. Everything is on track, and the ETA to our warehouse in Southern California is still late November (+/-).

I've also had a couple of requests for the Five Stars in matte black, but not enough requests to start taking deposits yet. I just mentioned to a good customer who's been waiting for a set of matte black that I'd make another post here to see how much interest we can garner for the 17x8" +30mm 5x150 Five Stars in matte black.

We had matte black in stock up until April, but matte black was a much slower seller for us compared to matte gunmetal. I'm not planning on ordering another production run of matte black in 17x8" +30mm 5x150 before the end of 2025 unless we have 5 or 6 LC 100 owners who are interested enough to leave deposits. If we have enough interest sooner rather than later, I will place an order with my manufacturer right away. The ETA is still approximately 6 months from the date that I send the purchase order to our manufacturer, but the ETAs are improving so the wheels might come in sooner depending on when we are able to place the order.

Anyone interested in the Matte Black 5 star? I’m hoping we can get a group together to order. Been waiting for these for a while, think they are the perfect wheel for the LX

I am interested in the 5 star in matte black as well! Hope we can get a few more peeps on the order. Anyone else?

@FNWheels hey Dustin, I am also curious what the weight of both these models are. For the six shooter your website says 26.7 lbs but in the listing it says 24 lbs.

Are the 5 stars 22 lbs? How close does “approx” mean in this case.

Thx!

Thanks @Tucktruck11 - I have you down for five (5) 17x8" +30 Five Stars. If we can get 5 or 6 more customers interested in matte black I'll start accepting deposits and place the order with my factory.

Thanks @clindsay123 - I'll add you to my list as well. Are you looking for four (4) or five (5) 17x8" Five Stars in matte black?

How much are they ?

$249.75 / ea + shipping.

24lbs was a typo for the 17x8" +30 5x150 Six Shooter. They're actually 25lbs. Sorry about that. I will update the first post right now. The listed weight for the Five Stars is correct.

The official wheel weights are:
  • 17x8" +30mm 5x150 Five Star (LC 100 version) : 22.3lbs
  • 17x8" +30 5x150 Six Shooter (LC 100 version) : 25.2lbs
Actual weight might vary slightly based on the finish. For example, the machined face samples that I posted will be ever so slightly lighter because of the small amount of material removed in the machining/polishing process. On the other hand, if we were to make a gloss metallic finish with thick gloss clear coat (such as the graphite gunmetal finish we offer in different sizes of the Five Stars and Six Shooters), the wheels might weigh a couple of ounces more than a solid matte finish such as matte black. That is why I always try to use the word "approximate" when listing wheel weights.

The 26.7lbs wheel weight you read on our website is for the 17x9" +25 5x150 Six Shooter flow formed. The 17x9" +25mm offset versions of these wheels are a little heavier due to the extra width and added material in the center PCD area. Typically the 17x9" +25 version will weigh about 6% to 7% more than the 17x8" +30mm offset version.

When considering wheel weights, please also remember that these wheels are load rated to 2,500lbs per wheel as tested to SAE J2530 test standards (stricter/tougher than JWL-T), and a maximum tire diameter of 37". If we tested to JWL-T only (Japanese test standard) and/or used a smaller tire diameter during testing, we could have made the wheels even lighter weight and/or listed a higher maximum for the load rating. However, I wanted the wheels to pass the toughest testing standard possible and overengineer the wheels to accept up to 37" tires while still providing wheel weights that are lighter than the OEM wheels.

I've seen other wheels from some of my competitors (not necessarily for Landcruisers, but for other Toyota vehicles) that list very light wheel weights, but then their load ratings are 1,650lbs or 1,870lbs. All of our wheels are built to 2,105lbs or 2,500lbs+ depending on the application. Similarly, I see some companies listing high max load ratings, but then they don't tell you the maximum tire diameter tested. I wanted to make sure to address the wheel weight, testing criteria, load rating, and oversized tire diameters so that you guys would have safe, durable, light weight wheels.
