Either that or the lever could have been bent by an occupant or body/frame/transmission flex.

That is absolutely the least amount of visible damage I have seen from a roll-over. Simply amazing.
My son's truck did not fare so well.

When you’re back in front of it I’d check all the fluids first, then exercise all the powertrain functions followed by all the other crap like the wipers & defrost, etc.

I’d bet if your motor mounts were old, taking them for a full roll may have nailed that coffin, maybe that’s part of the hard shift - or maybe it just needs to get used to being shiney-side up again & settle in.

Def worth checking the trans fluid level a few times this week, esp if it continues to be wonky.

Glad everyone is ok, impressive move for your wife to hop back in and drive it into town.

Looks like a rollover from a video game where you land of your wheels and keep going like nothing happened.

I asked and she says she did remember her knee up against the lever. Maybe a combo of several things, but that is one i'll have to address. I know it was a while ago, but my wife and I were on your Fins run at CM this last year. My wife rode with your wife for a bit on that ride towards the end.

Yep, she's a trooper.

I remember. Sarah loves passengers. that's how she hooks them....:)

Glad all occupants were OK. What caused the incident?

I believe she hit a patch of ice, overcorrected, suddenly regained traction, and shot her off...rolled 1.5 times down about a 30' embankment, somehow missing trees and rocks, and finally resting on the passenger side. it's a tricky spot on the pass there. She believes she was only going 10-15mph and tranny was in 2d to minimize brake use downhill.

That's excellent that everyone is OK after that. Vehicle being OK is just a bonus.

She's a trooper is an understatement. Thankfully haven't been in the situation but pretty sure my wife would have opted to walk the 10 miles back to town rather than get back behind the wheel.

You probably already know this, but at this point DO NOT CALL INSURANCE!!!

Things happen so fast. Again, so lucky things turned out as well as they did.

If there were any injuries that is not the best idea.

When my son rolled his truck I did not report it off the bat because the truck did not have collision coverage. He did go to the ER because he hit his head and needed to be checked out. The billing nightmare that followed was challenging to say the least.

I rolled over in the snow once before in a cruiser. Granted it wasn't an 80, but a 55 and it got hammered. In my roll there was a slight airborne that then jammed hard onto passenger roof corner. Caved roof, completely shifted/wacked body. It also drove off under it's own power for the rest of the day. The rig was totaled. Looks like a really soft roll.

Glad they are safe!

I had no injuries in my rollover....and no seatbelt either...

No injuries. I have not called insurance and won't until i get a chance to get eyes on and determine true extent of damage.

No injuries.

Truly amazing. No injuries and a relatively unscathed vehicle. Remarkable and lucky.

Consider a trip to the casino....:)

there will undoubtedly be a police report filed. Hopefully no citations will be issued. My son fell asleep which caused his roll. As he was alone and it was a one-car event the police did not cite him. They felt the ride and the destruction of his truck was sufficient.

I know. We both are blessed with good luck, when it counts! A couple of years ago i broke my c2 in three different places, usually resulting in paralysis or death in 98% of instances. Called the hangman's break and what christopher reeves suffered. I walked away from that one, literally. I think i will consider my luck used up and may avoid the casinos... ;)

They did not cite her since it was only one vehicle and she was traveling a safe speed when it occurred. PD did paperwork, but said if we file a claim, to call back and they will officially file the paperwork as an accident.
