IMO if the anything was in backwards, you would know it right away as the hub would not seat down to its proper place
If you want to save that inner seal, remove both locking nuts and the washer, pull the outer bearing put the washer and the nut...
You didn't mention you replaced the sensor. You said you replaced the gauge. The gauge is in the instrument panel, the sensor is on the engine. The sensor tells the gauge what to display. I would follow @greentruck 's advice.
Drove from Denver to Moab yesterday. I was following our trailer that's loaded for Cruise Moab so we were only doing 65ish over the big passes but I backed off on one of the strait aways to put some distance between myself and the trailer as we...
Mostly aesthetics. I still like the round headlights and the Morimotos are great, but with the quads and a custom harness, I can run all 4 lights on low & high and get even better output. Makes a big difference in light output

That worked ! I put some teflon tape on it, tightened it up. And it actually revved up a little upon start up-like it was roaring back to life. Thank you !
I got mine from dealer they were pretty cheap. Sorry forgot part number.

I have old nitro 5.29s I bought in 09. Had them set up by slee with crush sleeve and have been great, no issues. Not sure on where they were made back then?

A few things come to mind.
Before I pull or winch anybody, I tell them if anything happens to their rig that’s their fault. If anything happens to my rig that’s their fault too.
If they don’t agree, I don’t pull them out.
Famous words from the...
IMO, forced induction is another layer of complexity and problems. If more power is what you want/need then I'd say start looking at what another powerplant costs. There are lots of LS swaps out there, and plenty of knowledge around it. But...
Yes, I don't know why anyone who wanted a reliable rig to take them to remote places and back would want any kind of forced induction. So many more things to go wrong and more stress and heat for the engine...
I really hope you get it sorted out...
Did you or someone else pull the valve cover to inspect the timing chain and upper sprocket or is this diagnosis an assumption?
Labor rates are through the roof these days and I think you’d be better off in the end if you A. bought an...
