Moe Green lived it’s entire life in Southern Arkansas until I picked it up and brought it to Mississippi to breathe new life into it.

Quick Details

Sold in 1975 in Monroe Louisiana. Original owner put all but 100 of the 51,950 miles on it.

One of my friends purchased it from the Original Owner. It had locked up drum brakes and flat tires. My friend drug it home (about 15 miles) , added 4 wheel disc brakes and parked it in his shop for almost 15 years.

When said second owner decided to move and had too many projects he allowed me to come purchase it from him.

Every juicy detail of this vehicle can be found in this thread.

If you are interested in this FJ40 please read the build thread.

I have 98 hours in this project and $12,000 in parts. I will gladly provide a breakdown to a serious buyer.

What does it need?

Nothing really. Get in. Drive it. Everything is new or has 52,000 miles on it.

The Manual steering box leaks but nothing else does.

The truck is 97% rust free. The original owner had a boat rack on the truck and leaves and debris got caught behind it over the years and rusted the drivers side hard top piece.

The holes are still there from the rack.

If I was keeping the truck I would take the top apart in the summer and replace all the gaskets and have the holes fixed. The top has never been off and I did not what to go into it any deeper.

There are a few other random cuts (rear fender) I make a guess on in the build thread.

Congratulations to the new owner!

Land Cruisers were designed to functional and utilized, which is exactly the way that this one has been built with all its Toyota DNA and a couple of updates!

Plus, it’s in the second best 40 color!

Great job. It's a super truck and a good buy for a turnkey rig.

Someone is going to be the lucky new owner of the 2nd best rustic green 40 built by @wngrog ;)

Looking forward to getting a 2.0 with Weenie 3

Bumping this to consider a trade!

Have added a couple of things…dui distributor, starter, new hubs…nothing major. Just a really nice 40!

Interested in 80 specifically, but love all cruisers.

Just throwing it out…would consider outright sale too.
