I have tried all the usual suspects. Shapeways appears to be gone, I have tried every place with Cruiser in the name, eg Texas, Cool etc. I tried Specter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh no! I wish I'd gotten a spare gear.

Thanks TJ. @NickAtEndMotive is a pro and moves fast, but if he's too busy or hits a wall I'll step in!

Update , ordered from 2 different vendors , to try to replace the ones that Shapeways was making , now that they are no longer availble . bolth for the later year with the squarish hole ,, Quickparts made a replica using my file .. took 7 day to my door . my cost is 52.50 . for a single gear .... second company Craftcloud/Jawstech took 22 days to my door and cost me 33.27 for a single gear . They do not have a web site . or way to purchase online ...
In my ongoing dispute with shapeways they have not provided me with the file for the early gear . even as it was in the contract . the fight lives on .

How long are the 3D printed gears lasting? Do they break after a few uses? I have a extra one, but wondering if I should get some more spares.

Isn't the beauty of 3D printed that you can basically get another at will in the future?

I have given away several dozen gears that I had printed by 3dprintrva.com . 804 404 5380 The guy has the cadd file he made from my model. He prints them for me for 19.96 if I do ten at a time. I have told him that he can use my file if contacted by others. I have no affiliation or financial agreement with this company. Another guy off Mud gave me the one I used, so I was just paying forward. I have not gotten any feedback on whether the free ones work, but the one I use does.
