Any recommendations, I want to put a radio, but I don’t want to cut the factory dash. I’m going to make two kick panels out of abs plastic and mount 2 marine 4” kickers up front, Not sure in the back just yet. But I need to find a head unit that will fit in the factory hole.

She’s is pretty much ready to be enjoyed. So I took her out for a dive this afternoon.
- I’m going to re adjust brakes and re bleed then (need two pedals to really stop)
- I ordered the radio, so I’m waiting on that to come in, I’m going to make 2 kick panels out of ABS plastic and put 2 marine speakers in them.

I went to homedepot, to buy Cleaning supplies and ran into a “36x48” Matt. It has a texture like the factory rubber Matt, but it’s a bit thicker.

Sound system is done, bought some 3/16 abs plastic sheets, made some kick panels and installed some kicker marine speakers!

Took her out last night and I was very happy, didn’t over heat, oil pressure was great!
the only complain my girl friend had was the smell of gas!
I bought the poly gas tank, and it seems to not seal 100 percent around the float,

Amazing turn around on that 40! Well done.
Those poly tanks are notorious for leaking and just smelling awful. Spend the coin and buy a new OEM steel tank, you won't regret it.
