I am going to need to pull my t-case here soon. I have a spare case that I am going to install I think. I may even rebuild it.... Did you need to use a puller to get the case off? and how hard is it to wrestle it out in a 55? I did not need a puller. I was able to muscle it out laying on a creeper. It's not a super heavy case (guessing 50-ish lbs?), but the uneven weight distribution makes it a challenge to deal with working from underneath. Perfection! thanks! I am sure you will see how it goes on my build. Pretty sure I have a bad nose cone bearing for the front output. hearing a-lot of noise in 4wd more so than it was. with this do you have a picture of the set up? how was it attached to the body?Some PO long ago removed the under-the-truck spare tire carrier. I decided to fab up an interior mount to hold the spare safely. I used some flat stock and some 1” square tube. A couple of J hooks and wing nuts and:

Yeah, I know it would not impair my rear view as much if I had mounted it on the driver’s side, but I can see out just fine and the passenger side location may help even out the cruiser lean.
