While on vacation in Switzerland, my wife and I were riding bikes to a bakery for a quick snack and she said "Hey, did you see that Cruiser?" After we ate we rode back by so I could stop and check it out. Pretty sweet looking rig pretty original, which is sweet.
I am not sure with other markets, but judging by the square bezel, rear vent windows, I'd venture to guess its a 1979 or later.
I tried to start my cruiser after it ssat for a few weeks, and it would crank but not fire, I checked and the TBI wasn't squirting gas. I pulled the distributor and put in the spare from the parts cabinet..... Now it was squirting fuel but it wasn't getting spark.... I replaced the ICM with the original one that was on it and it fired right up. I set the timing and was good to go. I thinkg the other distributor could be cleaned up, the rust that formed on it probably stopped it from grounding out the injectors.
I think I am done Cutting and welding exhaust pipe on the FJ62 for a while so I swept up the shop and pulled the 40 in right before a thunderstorm dumped an ungodly amount of rain.
