Pretty sure the short answer is no. Of course with enough money I suppose anything is possible. Why not just buy the City Racer rims?
I have 7 split rims, some need to be straightened out and most tire shops
won’t touch them. Love the City Racer rims, pricey at $1900 for 5.

You can still buy new 6 lug split rims (although technically these aren't true split rims; even though we all refer to them as such) from Toyota. IIRC I paid about $125 each for the last two I bought. Of course that was in Riyadh so probably a bit more here.

Any truck stop that handles tires (or any tire shop that specializes in 18 wheelers) shouldn't have any issue mounting tires on those. I have no idea where you would get one of those rims "straightened" any more than I would know where to take a regular rim to be straightened. If it's just the retaining rings then those can also still be purchased new but the only place I have found them is in Japan.

The rims don't seem to be available from US dealers (maybe special order?) but they appear to be available in Canada even cheaper than I paid in Riyadh:

My 45 started it’s life in Saudi Arabia, then the previous owner bought it and moved it to Dubai, where he restored it. Before and after photos

I have some worn out tires on my splits on my 45. I’m assuming when shopping for new tires I can run any tire? Meaning Doesn’t have to be a tire that only handles tubes correct? Anything else I need to shop for? I thought I read about liners or something?
Thanks!
Jason

The tires on my FZJ75 and my FJ45 say “Tube Type”. I have read that you shouldn’t run radials with tubes as the sidewall is too thin and you could possibly get differential movement between the tire and the tube which could weaken the tire. I have also read that is total BS so apologies but I can’t answer your question definitively. Yes, you need rim liners to protect the tube from the rim.

Edit: apparently it’s the tube that’s in danger and not the tire.

Thanks @WarDamnEagle Can liners be reused? Or need a new set at tire change?
I don't know. I assume they can, if they are not worn, torn, etc., but I also think they are relatively cheap. I guess if I was buying new tires I would want new tubes so I'm thinking I would probably just go ahead and buy new liners.......but I'm not saying you have to.

Edit: You need to be aware that there are different valve stem orientations on tubes and liners so make sure you get the correct ones to match your rims. I'm not an expert on the subject but I think they are either centered in the rim (like the liner below) or they are offset. I would have to go look at my Troopy to know which one it takes.

In doing 5 minutes of poking around the internet, apparently there are radial tire tubes available. So maybe that’s the answer if you want to safely run radial tires with tubes.
