I had an original rubber fuel plug / stopper on my 66 45LV that I tried to have reproduced about 6 years ago. Unfortunately the reproduction failed this past week. Has anyone found an aftermarket option that works well to plug the fuel neck on the LV? Thanks in advance.

Subscribed.

I hoarded a spare but am curious about options.

Ordered one of these from granger. Will see how it works.
Gotta love Grainger. I don’t think anyone delivers faster to Tahoe! So this part is a little bit of a tight fit but it DOES work! I imagine as it gets more use it will work a little better. My only concern might be if it expands when it warms up if it might get stuck? wonder if I should try to drill a small hole through the top so it doesn’t create a vacuum?

Grainger has a warehouse in Reno.

I think the venting units in the rear quarter panels for the gas tank might prevent any vacuum.... i think

Hey scoobie dudes.....I have an LV fuel plug stopper in good shape I'd be willing to trade for some round tail reflectors and gaskets----I saw an older post on those. PM me.
