Hello all,
I have a 1980 California that is complete but I have a 3 hoses that are not connected to anything and need some help please. I took it too a smog station and they wont smog it until they know where the hose should or shouldn't go. I have a Performance HEI Distributor otherwise it is stock to my knowledge.
1) I have a red hose coming out of the firewall and it does not attach to anything.
2) Pic 2 and Pic 3. I have a hose that comes off of an aluminum line (pic 2). This is located at the top front of the engine close to the oil fill cap. It comes off of the bottom aluminum line and is connected to a rubber hose and a "value" (pic 3) but just hangs down.
3) Right below the air filter housing on the passenger side I have this "value" with several hoses connected to it (Pic 4 and 4a). Hoses 1, 2, 3 all connect to each other. Hose 3a is the same hose as 3. It just hangs there. Hose 4 which comes out of the top of the "valve" connects to the top of the air filter housing.
I found this website that shows pics and toward the bottom row of pics it shows pic 4 and 4a connected differently but it does not show where the hose goes to. untitled
The tech also said that the emission tag was missing but didn't tell me what tag it was. I noticed on the above website I just posted they have pics of emission tags. I also found some here as well: 1980 Vehicle Emissions Control Decal [B-44] - $20.00 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
