What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (44 Viewers)

In reference to the pin 7 mod, were there any years when the factory had the center diff lock NOT automatically engage when shifted into low range? I have a MY 2000 and the center diff does not automatically engage when shifted into low range; the button must be activated for lockup.

I believe 2000 and newer do not auto lock center diff in low range. Not 100% sure so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Received my front leather/ pleather skins from Land Cruiser Heaven. These are for the 100 seats in my 55, so I ordered them in black to match its interior.

I'll post up a pic/ thread once the upholstery place gets them on

Installed VaisTech SL3B in my 2006 LX470, thanks to everyone who contributed to the instructions. I'm not mechanically inclined and succeeded! The Mark Levinson stereo sounds amazing!

Fitted a Dorman 924-755 headlight leveling sensor into a front AHC height sensor position. Works as expected and appears to be a $55 aftermarket option to repair failed OE height sensor assemblies that cost $250-$300.

found a place to secure my benchmade houdini emergency tool

replaced my cabin air filters and threw a bag of activated charcoal in the back for good measure

aaaand I plasti-dipped the back panel thing with all that chipped paint ugliness. also deleted the emblems!

I'm not sure what the retail on these is, you'll need to contact Frank

I ponied up the templates for the seats. We also did some horse trading with this deal, too.

Wanted: - Old OEM cloth/Leather Seat covers for 60/100 series - no matter condition

I opted for leather seating surfaces and synthetic materials on the other parts of the seat to save $. All leather is available.

I threw some OPT7 LED bulbs in my headlights. Haven't had the chance to look at the exact cutoff, but others have had nice cutoff with HID's in the stock projectors, so hopefully these are good too.

After removing my running boards, I saw that the rear A/C lines, under the doors, seem a little exposed. I was a little worried about rocks coming off the front tire and damaging them. I took one of those kids swim noodles, sliced it longways, and wrapped the front 18-24 inches. Secured it with strap-ties. I had to cut it in sections and angle some of the ends to fit the bends in the line.
