Damn!

Removed running boards and luggage rack in preparation for some gear coming from Trail Tailor (@reevesci)

Replaced front speakers after noticing the passenger side crackling. Replaced driver side rear window motor with a used one sourced from ebay to fix a seized window motor.

This is intense.

Sorry if I missed it but What are the details on this truck. I understand you sold your previous 100 to work on this project - and you are going all out. Do you have a build in mind or are you simply base lining the shiz out of it?

Either way looks fun!

No build plans yet, just restoring her back to as new as possible (and having some fun).

Did the Pin7 mod, then running boards removed. Looks a lot cleaner.

Installed a new air horn. WOLO Bad Boy. $32 from Harbor Freight with a coupon. 45 min install. Sounds WAY better than factory horn.

Finally got around to deleting my running boards and having new tires (285/75-16) mounted on all five wheels

Rebuilt the CV joints, replaced the front sway bar bushings, new diff seals, and new motor mounts :D

Going to try and tackle the drivers side exhaust manifold this week if it's not too cold out.

Correct. When going into low range, the factory default locks the center diff. This is pulling the connector pin at location (pin) 7 on the transmission relay behind the glovebox. Now I can use low range without the diff locking. I use this on boat ramps where I don't want the drivetrain to bind up but still want four wheel drive.

You can still lock the diff with the button if you want, like in high range.

In reference to the pin 7 mod, were there any years when the factory had the center diff lock NOT automatically engage when shifted into low range? I have a MY 2000 and the center diff does not automatically engage when shifted into low range; the button must be activated for lockup.
