Land Cruiser Heaven Leather Review

Thank you! I forgot to check his link when I got home from work last night. His site is still blocked from my work computer, not sure why. Did you put these on one of your LX seats? Wondering how well they match. We got a split in our driver seat on the LX. Only had it a little over a month, :-( I think Colorado climate is hard on leather...

Seat bottom and top have different patterns.

Gotcha, I had never noticed that. I would guess that the seats are the same shape, and the LX pattern would be fine in the LC, or visa-versa.

no, having re-skinned seats before the pattern correspond to voids in the seat foam where the hog rings attach to the seat frame. Also may have issues with the seat heater elements if they are pattern specific. I'm sure its all doable but wont be plug and play and will probably look odd unless you also get the seat foam pieces from the specific model.

As for Lseats product and quality I put a set of their covers in two tone in my SC maybe 10 years ago and they were great. Thinking of getting the same two tone for the LX as the darker color matches the dash very well and the SC and LX are the exact same color combo between dash and seat.

Excuse the very, very old pics that look like they were taken with a potato:)

Also did my RX7 a few years later when my knuckled eventually recovered from the SC. It a serious pain in the ass job but once its all done its very rewarding to have fresh leather. Did red piping on this one to match the exterior.

Very nice job installing and the nice covers I've ever seen. kudus.

....

Having just installed two-color leather covers from lseat.com on a 2000 LX I can confirm the hog rings attach to wires that match the curved contours/seams of the seat bottoms and backs. Not having seen the insides of the LC I can't confirm, but I'd be REALLY surprised if the wires didn't go straight and match the visible seams.

Edit: and forgot to mention the seat heater elements are cut to match the seat upholstery cross pattern, but do not have a curved section - they might work regardless.

Pretty much all wrapped up for now. Was amazed at how much the dynamat helped quiet the ride too. All in all, she feels like new..., only she's 10 years old with 106k

I replaced my aging OME shocks (N133/N101) with an Icon Stage 1 set.

...and mounted a Comet SBB5 to my Labrak antenna mount, with a little help from a 5/8" bit.

I'll track down the Stage 1 thread and give some impressions. So far, very impressed.

OME 865s in the rear and OME torsion bars up front.
